Sparkles what did your lines look like on the strip after you took it out... I had a false positive and one of the ways I know it was false is the hormone line was very light. When I had a genuine positive the line was super dark

Hi Momamia - not temping, as I find it all a bit confusing.
Going to take a look at the test now.....
Yup it's really faint, so definitely a false positive.
I did think it was strange that there were no other signs

I ovulated 8 days after my false surge ( 3 days after my real and super positive OPK) so be on the look out for EWCM and o pains :)
Jen - keeping my fx that your numbers are increasing as they should be.
Girlie - it sounds like maybe you haven't ovulated yet seeing that your temp is down again. Hopefully it is not too far away for you.
Dreamsister - sorry the witch came, hopefully next month is better.
Xx - I'm hopeful for you this cycle. I understand where you are at. I have bought forward our end date for ttc to next month. I have too many hpts still to call it quits this month & this is our first month of letting go of shettles timing so kind of want to give it another month if unsuccessful this month. On the other hand though I feel the pressure that ttc has put on DH & our relationship. It has taken a toll on both of us. We lead such busy lives & I am starting to wonder more about adding to the stress & chaos especially as my DH too is doing this just for me. He has even started talking about possibly getting a vasectomy once we have finished ttc which is something that he never wanted to do previously as he used to feel like he would be loosing his "manhood". I have told him I will not be getting my tubes tied. I have had 3 cesareans & don't want anymore operations, it's his turn now.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. Today (22 DPO) has been so weird/confusing. This morning I got my darkest pregnancy test to date on the Wondolfo cheapie (both lines were nearly the same color) and another 2-3 on the Clearblue Advanced w/Weeks estimator (so 4-5 weeks pg). However, I started lightly spotting a few hours ago (light brown) and have some mild cramping. I go in for my 2nd blood draw tomorrow morning so I probably won't know the results until Friday. If I am having a miscarriage why in the heck did I get my strongest positives on the tests earlier today? This process is maddening and I have been on such an emotional roller the last few days coaster :tissue::tissue:
So sorry jenc! Don't lose hope yet. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

So sorry jenc8060 you are experiencing anxiety about this. In July after my first TTC-attempt I got very clear BFP for five or six full weeks in a row although my HCG numbers did not double as it should. It turned out I have had a chemical that turned into a missed abortion. My body thought it was pregnant and kept producing HCG-hormone up until 43.000 which is quiet high. You can test positive with just a HCG-number of only 5. I am not saying that the same thing is happening to you. Just saying that one can have a strong second line even when you are in the middle of a MC. FX you'll get good news from your blood draw today. Big hug.
I'm sorry, jenc. Ttc is so stressful. The whole process is crazy! I honestly can't believe anybody does it. FX you get good numbers!!!
I'm hoping your numbers are high, and you have a sticky bean growing in there jenc!!
Huge hugs!!

Jen- this could be the twin loss we were talking about. You would spot and bleed from that I would think but the other should be fine... You aren't out entirely yet and it can be good that your tests are getting darker despite the hcg I think the kind of chemical described would be the worst case scenario right now and not sure that's what you are dealing with yet... Fx for you hon, that your numbers are where they should be
