Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
Absolutely no changes. I am not a coffee drinker - only tea. I only eat red meat twice a week - three times at the most. Around the time of ovulation I would either skip or delay breakfast. That's it.

If diet was used, length of time before attempt?

Did you skip breakfast regularly?
No. Only for a for days during ovulation

Did DH change his diet with you?
No

Comments regarding DH's diet-
DH didn't change his diet either and we eat similar diet. He drinks a lot of coffee though.

Did you consume alcohol?

No. I sometimes take a sip of Dh's wine but that's it. He usually has one glass of wine with dinner.

Did you try to limit caffeine?
No I didn't. I might have had 3 to 4 cups of tea a day plus a milo.

SUPPLEMENTS USED
DW Supplements
Low dose aspirin - 100mg
Folic acid - 500mcg
Ubiquinol - 300 or 400mg per day
Zinc - 40mg
Vit D - 1000iui
Vit E - 1000iui
Magnesium
Premular - 1 per day continuously
DHEA - took from CD 1 - CD 10, then stopped for 6 days around O, then took again from 1DPO until CD 10 (I had a friend, Mrs Goodies, from this website who took DHEA this way and managed to conceive a girl - although she MC. Taking DHEA constantly throughout the cycle usually sways boy, but taking a break from it for 6 days around the time of O seems to sway girl. Not properly proven just yet of course though). Also to note with DHEA - I had my blood tested first and was mid-range).
Progesterone - I was a bit low I think and more took it as a precaution but my FS prescribed me endometrin pessaries 100mg 2 times per day. I haven't continued this throughout the first trimester either as my ob said to just stop them.

I ended up pretty slack with my supps and pretty sure for that last cycle when I conceived I was just taking ubiquinol, DHEA, Vit D and elevit prenatal.

Did you do anything with Ions?
Just constantly wore a sterling silver bracelet and DD loves to have her finger and toenails painted so we both did a bit of that too around O time.

Moon Phase during conception?

oops! I'm not sure. I'll have to check.

Did you use any Old Wives Tales?
Yes. I had a baby onesie of my DD's that she barely got to wear safely tucked inside my pillow case so it was under my pillow. I also had a photo of DD as a baby on our fridge (have the boys too) that I would often look at and use positive affirmations.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
My age - 47. Older Mums are supposed to have girls. I know I had given it my BEST shot. I had skipped breakfast around O and had been doing a lot of exercise with the hope of losing some weight and getting toned up for Summer, DH drinking his coffee and rides his bike to work every day and also had been doing lots of walking and hiking.
Things that make me nervous about my sway:

Having had 2 boys already. Nothing else really as I knew in my heart I had done everything I could do sway, but ultimately I really just wanted to get pregnant and have a healthy baby regardless of it's gender.
Things worth mentioning:
Back in September in Spring the kids and I had found a beautiful bird nest in a bush in our backyard and it had 3 tiny and perfect little blue speckled eggs in it. Another day we found one had hatched and there was a tiny bird, and the next day the second had hatched and there was a second tiny bird. The third never hatched but we watched the baby birds with awe and wonder and whenever I whistled their tiny heads would lift up and their beaks would open. It was just wonderful! And you know what? The year before that we'd found another nest in our backyard with eggs that hatched and the same day I cracked open a double-yolker egg in the kitchen. I thought it was a sign of my fertility, but a close friend of mine announced her pregnancy instead. But this year, I knew it was a sign for me. In the backyard, my DD and I blew old dandelions and made wishes and I know we both wished for the same thing. And, low and behold, here I am now living that dream. This was all in September, I learnt I was pregnant just 11 days prior to my 47th birthday, and now here I am almost 12 weeks pregnant with what will hopefully be a perfectly healthy baby GIRL. Yes, found out last week via percept NIPT, that we are indeed having a baby girl. It took me over 2 years ladies, but I never gave up. I persevered and I am as stubborn as anything - yet now here I am. I had a traumatic 10wk MMC in 2015 after doing a fantastic girl sway (look back and you might even find my sway) and I could easily have bled to my death and ended up with PTSD afterwards. But - I did it! I hope this helps at least one other lady achieve her dream too (especially if your mid 40s like me).

Oh onemoregirl I'm thrilled for you!! I remember your MMC in 2015 when I was pregnant with my sway opposite.
