    Ponypuppy's SWAY

    Hi guys, here is my first post! I've been really hanging around this place for a year now and really like this community. Atomic you are such an awesome person taking your time to answer everyone here. I hope when knowing the outcome, my sway may help other people too. We will find out the gender at 20 weeks.

    DIET

    Did you follow a diet plan?
    LE-diet & vegetarian since a year.

    If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
    5 months. I was originally going for 3 months until first attempt but for personal reasons we decided to wait a bit more.

    Did you skip breakfast regularly?
    Yes the last two months I skipped breakfast almost every morning.

    Did DH change his diet with you?
    Not really but we became vegetarians since the beginning of this year.

    Did you consume alcohol?
    No, I'm not a drinker and couldn't/didn't want to force myself.

    Did you try to limit caffeine?
    I never drank coffee, just tea which I quit. So only one coke zero a day when it comes to caffeine.

    Any Diet Details?
    I started off making small adjustments working my way towards a strikter LE-diet. So I didn't go cold turkey as I had a very boy-friendly diet and lifestyle which I was really fond of. I only counted fat/protein the first days to give myself an idea of the limits, then I let go as I can be a control freak and didn't want to go down that road, lol. Maybe I went a bit on the lower side of the recommended nutrients closer to O-day.

    Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
    I ate no meat, no fish. Some soy-meat replacers 3 times a week. To be honest I didn't have that much veggies and fruits. I did feast a lot on soup, bread and icecream. I have always been a super healthy eater and it felt so dirty but also so good to not focus on 'good' nutrients all the time.

    WEIGHT AND EXERCISE

    What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
    I lost 5 kilo's during 5 months. My BMI is 19 now. Weight was flying off with this diet so the last month I did my best to stay at the weight I was.

    Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?
    My exercise was walking everywhere. Groceries? WALK. Work? WALK. Park? WALK. I was trying to find reasons to go for a walk every day, probably managed to do so 6 days a week.

    BD Dates according to Ovulation
    I didn't get a positive OPK even though I was seeing a lot of EWCM for some days and was very late in my cycle. Decided to listen to my body and BD before bedtime. The next morning I got my positive OPK. So maybe 2 days before O?

    Peed 8 minutes after and then went to sleep. Didn't want to cut my odds of conception too much as I was really longing for my bowl of oatmeal in the morning again.

    It was the only time we BD with him finishing inside me this month.

    Neither

    Things that make me feel great about my sway:
    I really feel like I gave it my best shot with the knowledge we have now.

    Things that make me nervous about my sway:
    I didn't drink coffee/alcohol and didn't do 'real' sports, just walking. Also I never really counted fats/protein and just went along with what felt good for me.
    I felt really confident after DTD but as times passes I get a bit more nervous as it is out of my control now .
