I apologise if there is already a thread on this, but just a question, Negative ions......???
I am doing the rose quartz necklace, stones against my body.
Lavender EVERYTHING from soap to cleaning products to fresh lavender in vases.
Painting nails every 2nd day
Running water/fresh air
What are some other ones that dont involve spending much money? I cant get a salt lamp thing at present, the ones that maybe some of us are not aware of? I seen in a post before about hairspray? Give me all your ideas!!!!!!

I don't know if it has anything to do with ions or RELAXATION! ;) hehe
Oh this is a BIG one I didn't do.. blow a fan on yourself when you are at the computer.

I have found salt lamps that take tea light candles and they are WAY cheaper. I found some for $12 (AUD) opposed to $60 (AUD) for the electric ones =)

I rigged my shower head to fill up my bath tub! That's the ONLY way I do it now. LUV IT :)

Going for a walk with a breeze blowing is a way to get ions
Hematite bracelets are also neg ions and pretty to wear (they go with about everything and everyone loves them!) I'm telling you the jewelry was and is still is my fave part of my girl sway
I had some pure lavender oil that I'd put a dot on my pulse points and it was a real nice relaxing scent all day long....
I did not buy a salt lamp (they are too expensive for me and my DH thoguht it was ugly.) I did have a fan blowing on me at work (work at a computer desk)

Before I found GD, I bought a small one that plugs into the usb port for $6 with shipping on ebay. It looks like a memory stick.
I still have it plugged in, I don't think it's hurting anything, but I'm also not sure it's actually helping.

I thought Atomic said that research shows that ions don't sway. If they do I'd like to know for sure. I'm on the computer all of the time! Eeeek!

Honestly, I don't think it does. Some of it I think sways because it's relaxing...like the lavendar lotion, etc...the waterfalls, the rock salt lamp... Relaxing means lowering testosterone, so personally, I think it sways THAT way, but I'm not buying into the mumbo jumbo about positive and negative ions. Just seems too "magicial" LOL.

it's just a piece of rock salt carved to hold a small candle. They're pretty.

The data indicates that they do NOT sway gender in the ways that they are claimed to sway, because modern research has proven X and Y sperm do not carry different electrical charges and thus cannot be attracted or repelled by "ions" in the CM. In fact, your CM is supposed to have ions in it and all our CM has the same ions. Many of our body's functions need ions to work properly and our body knows how to provide them for whatever purpose we need them to do. Our body makes them from the foods we eat and does NOT get them from the moon or from pretty bracelets.
IF (and that is a HUGE IF) they could possibly sway somehow, my suspicion would be that positive ions could actually sway pink and negative ions could sway blue. This is because positive ions are oxidants, bad for health and bad for fertility. While neg. ions are antioxidants and help bind with and neutralize harmful oxidants that can hurt your body and are bad for fertility. Things that are good for health and fertility tend to sway blue and vice versa.

:agree: my thinking is that if people enjoy using the ions, even if there is some sort of placebo effect going on, hey, that's great. As long as people are not bankrupting themselves buying ionizing gadgets!!
