I've started buying up cloth diapers <3 Getting mostly gender neutral in those and some for DD to wear and to share since I'll have two in diapers. I did get some nice little newborn ones in gender neutral color.
I've bought a few little baby items at the resale shops here and there... don't know if I'll be able to use them as they're all boyish, but they were only a few dollars and bought in hope.

Scrimpy... Did you you did out?
We found out!!! I couldn't tell during the scan, and the tech told us when she was taking measurements around the potty shot areas, so DH covered my eyes. But she gave me profile shot that gave away the goods. So with some prodding from DH and the girls here I opened the envelope to confirm. We have a sweet baby boy on the way! I'm in shock and over the moon <3 <3 <3

Well.. I am back in the hospital. I was admitted a few weeks ago due to a partial placenta abruption and had been taking it easy with some ongoing spotting. Last night I was sitting on my bed and GUSH! Bright red blood all over me, the bed and when I got off the bed dripped down my leg onto the floor. Needless to say I freaked out! My MIL called the ambulance and I was admitted to the hospital. They said it is a chronic placental abruption now and are keeping me here until Monday then letting me go home as they said there is nothing they can do even if the babies are born now. They also said that I will probably be in and out of hospital and at 24 weeks they will admit me if this is still happening. I have a feeling these babies are going to be born really early :(

I'm so sorry, Stacey! I had a friend who had premature rupture of membranes, and like you said they wouldn't take her at the hospital until 24 weeks either :( So she did her own bedrest at home. Maybe you could do that just 3 weeks until they could take you. Will pray those sweet girls stay in as long as possible!

Hey! Thanks for thinking of me. I am 22 weeks pregnant now and had another big bleed a few days ago. Trying to keep the focus on the fact that I am two weeks away from viability. Obviously I pray that I go wayyy beyond viability but I will relax a little when I make it to the 24 week mark. I had an u/s today and the great news is that one baby is 1 pound 1 ounce and the other is 1 pound and 4 ounces, measuring very well for twins at 22 weeks. I have attached pics of the girls. Ava is the one smiling with her hand at her face. Arianna is the other twin.

I'm so excited for y'all getting your little girls! It seems almost everyone so far is getting their desired gender. Sometimes it makes me feel guilty when I meet someone who didn't...there is another DD group on another site who almost everyone got the opposite, and so I kinda slowly and quietly stopped posting there...no one said anything, I just don't know what to say...:/

I'm really glad you have that chance to do HT next time! I know a lot of people who would if they could.
This other board, though, was a specific ttc boy board, and literally no one else got a boy except me, so it's really awkward. I wish I knew why everyone can't get their heart's desire :/

katy- congrats on hearing boy!!!!! I sometimes worry my "girl" will come out "boy" but dh keeps reassuring me that we had a tech and a perinatologist tell us 110% girl and we saw the 3 lines...so I try to keep telling myself its all going to be ok. As for the weight gain..I have read on American Pregnancy Association website..that 1st trimester- gain around 5-6 lbs then 1-2 lbs per week there after so I guess than that the number my 25 weeks would vary from person to person.

YES! ME! I have been measuring 40 weeks pregnant for about 5-6 weeks. I dread to think what I will measure at my appointment tomorrow, can your belly measure 52 weeks pregnant LOL? As of my last ultrasound both babies were lying straight across my stomach on top of each other, stretched right out! I find it hard to breathe and get comfortable and also feel very full even after eating a little..

I def wouldn't worry about popping out a girl! I even remember your nub shot looked def boy, so if it was confirmed, I would feel totally confident if I were you! I know I am, even though every so often I go back and look at the gender shot just to make myself feel better, lol!

I am doing pretty good thanks, just taking it literally a day at a time. I am not on total bed rest, probably because I complained so much to my doctor. I guess I just know what is right for me, if I feel uncomfortable/pain/spotting then I go and rest for a few hours and drink lots. The bed rest was just KILLING ME!! And it was too hard having three boys ages 6 and under wanting my attention and being very active. I don't pick up my two year old now, he will walk and get into his little bed by himself and if I need to change his diaper then I will have him lay down on the rug so that I don't have to pick him up onto the changing table. Luckily he is a very easy baby/toddler.

How are you doing, my dream? Still having a lot of bh? I've also started getting terrible pain in my hips the past week :( it's hard to sleep cause they ache so bad and it def makes it worse to lay down on them. I know joints loosen up, but this feels like more than that. Usu would feel better after moving around in the morning, but I've felt like an invalid all day! Think I might fall apart before having this boy! Lol

Here was the post from Stacey for those who can't access it on the other forum
THE TWINS HAVE ARRIVED
Ava Rose and Arianna were born yesterday morning at 10:48 and 10:50 by emergency c-section. I was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after a gush of blood and had an u/s that showed an abruption around both babies placentas but was kept for observation, they wanted me to stay 1 week. Yesterday morning I took a shower/washed my hair and was feeling pretty good. The nurse came in to do a non stress test and I started to feel nauseous, she hooked me up to the monitor and went to get some anti sickness when I just had the worst pain in my stomach. I pressed the call nurse button and by the time she ran into the room I was crying in pain and throwing up. After that things started happening fast, the doctors came in, I got moved to labor and delivery. The room was full of docs and nurses but it was sort of a blur. With the pain so bad they thought I was having a complete abruption so decision was made to do a c - section right away. I was scared because I had eaten breakfast, although had thrown up a lot and I was sad because my husband was at work an hour and a half away. Got to the OR and it took 3 times to place my spinal, felt everything going numb. It was my first section and I was scared to death. I lost 3 liters of blood and it was touch and go for a while. Ava was born first and I was worried because she wasnt crying then two minutes later Arianna. I never got to touch them, they were taken straight to NICU. It took a long time to get me stabilized and I kept thinking I was having some nightmare. I was taken to recovery and had been begging to see the babies but was in a lot of pain and the nurse told me to "rest" and that I could go up later. So at 6:30pm last night I got to really look at my daughters for the first time. They are in two different nursery rooms due to space issues so I sat with Ava first and took in every detail of her perfect but small little face and peaked under her hat to see she has black hair. Then I did the same with Arianna and she surprised me with having blonde hair under her cap. It was a very scary day but so worth it. Oh, Ava is 3 pounds 7 and Arianna is 3 pounds 1. The NICU doc just told me that Ava had to get surfactant in the middle of the night to help her lungs but not to worry as it is pretty typical for preemies to need it. When I go up to see the girls after breakfast I will take some pics to post, they wont be great pics though because they have the CPAP? masks on. Thank you all who have followed me and supported me through my journey for a daughter. Who would have thought that just when I give up on ever getting my girl, I end up getting her and she brings along a sister...

I def know what you mean...I've been staying up later cause the thought of laying down in bed makes me feel miserable. Tell my dh all the time I wish I had a lazy boy to sleep in!
Thanks for posting the update on Stacey! That must have been scary for her, but glad she and the babies are doing ok.

You're not the only one, coco... I got an opposite too. It is a bit hard sometimes for me too, I don't come as often for that reason. I am happy for everyone though, and I haven't given up just yet, so that makes it a bit easier. Hugs to you!

I'm sorry coocoo...I thought there were quite a few opposites. Right now, I think most of us are going through the same stage together with the aches and pains of the last couple of months, and can help support each other with that.
For example...My dh pulled out the air mattress for me to put on the guest bed bc I was waking up with my hips in agonizing pain every morning from the pressure. I have to admit the air mattress helps, but I miss sleeping in bed next to him :(. Don't know if my body is going to handle 7-8 more weeks of this! :(

Coocoo and Ribbons- I completely understand (((HUGS))). I hope that you will both still visit this forum..even if it is just to vent about anything...aches and pains of pregnancy etc.
I personally have not been feeling so great the past few days, dizzy and nauseous at times.
Dr. said all is ok...that I need to eat and drink more. I probably need to slow down as well and try to rest. Anyone else feeling like this?

Haven't been nauseous or dizzy, but feeling terribly miserable :/ Can't sleep well, lots of Braxton Hicks, feeling lots of pressure. I had a dr. appt today, and he told me unless I'm having more than 4 BH an hour, it's nothing to be concerned about. At my next appt. they will check for dilation, effacement, etc...exciting that it's coming so soon!

I honestly wouldn't mind going a bit early at this point....she is considered full term and I am so happy that I made it to this point. I know I should probably hang onto these last moments of pregnancy but they are really rough for me.

Hope you're doing well! These last weeks are dragging by for me! Christmas was a nice distraction, so now things have slowed down in "life" it's slowing down for the baby countdown too! Hope all you ladies are having a happy new year! Here's to a lot of sweet babies coming soon! xx

Had my dr appt today (35+4wks)...I'm 70% effaced and 1.5cm dilated, & -2 station. Dr said he thought it would be about 2-3 more weeks. I can't believe I'm almost to the end! With my last dd, I was 50%, 2cm& -2 when I was 37 weeks and she came 13 days later...

I am totally with you, ladies! Was cruising through this pregnancy without one complaint until a week or so ago. Was so grateful for our good fortune that I felt it was inappropriate to complain at all. But I can barely walk now. Have to sleep upright because of heartburn. Lower back pain is unbearable. Just don't have anything left to support this 4th pregnancy.
Have one more intense week at work, then can mostly rest and work from home. My sweet friends are throwing an over-the-top baby shower next weekend, and that will be fun too. Yahmama, I have your exact due date (feb 4) but my doc is nice enough to induce me a week early. So Monday Jan 28 it is. Only three more weeks!!!
So glad this is our last pregnancy. Just can't wait to have her in arms.
Best of luck to all during these last weeks. xoxo Rose

Hey ladies, its been a while since i posted here. Trying to read back through to find out what i have missed! All is going well here, bubs is fully engaged and cant get any lower, midwife thinks it will be here in the next 10 days. So going through the whole nesting stage and getting things ready! Still do not know what gender bubs is. Thinkin boy from my 12 week scan since the potty shot had protrusion and the nub shots were mixed as i had perfect girl nubs and perfect boy nubs so its still a mystery, time will tell. Its been interesting having everyone tell me what it is by the way im carrying to the ring tests and all their theories so will be neat to find out who is right! Still have no names on our list we are so so stuck. Everything else is all good though and finished birthing plan with midwife today so just a waiting game. Hope everyone else is well xxx

Sorry I haven't updated lately...had my pelvic exam @ 36 wks last week and was 70% effaced and 1.5 dilated, -2 station. I've had TONS of pressure and Braxton hicks all week...passed mucous plug mon/tues. saw dr. again today but didn't want to get checked again. Strange as it sounds I really don't want to go before 38 weeks! Worried he would have some possible breathing problems...I know I shouldn't worry since I will be 37 wks Monday and that is full term. I am tired of being miserable but just not sure I'm ready yet!

I can't wait to hear what you have! I tried to have a surprise for this one but in the end just wasn't patient enough! Hope it makes your birth extra exciting! That's the part I really wanted to experience a surprise for was that extra incentive fr delivery and finding out when he/she could be in my arms. Good luck!

I've been having lots of on off contractions too...on mon night they were consistent about 7-9 min apart so I thought they would pick up but they died down. Ok with me I guess as I won't be 38 wks till mon and I'd really like him to stay in a little longer! Also a friend is giving me a shower on Sat and I'd hate to miss my own shower, lol! Hope everyone else is hanging in ok too! Almost the end!

Baby Quinn arrived last night at 5:12pm... He is perfect! We had a beautiful, low-key (but quick) home birth and he came out with the bag of waters still intact, it was pretty amazing. 8lbs 10.5 oz - he's such a sweet little guy and my older boys are so in love with him!
Wishing everyone else a happy and safe birth!

Yay for three new babies since I last checked in!!! How exciting for everyone! I've been having contractions every night this week that go away in the morning, but at least I'm making progress! Saw the dr today and am now 3cm dilated...she said I'm prob going to go anytime now!! I'm so excited & nervous & trying not to stress too much about all the things that still need to get done around the house (like backed up laundry!!) will try to update soon! Love to everyone! xx

Congratulations ladies! Ribbons, Quinn is one of our names too!! Not totally decided but it is def my top one;)
I'm hoping I go soon, actually had contractions last Thursday and went into hospital but then they went away:/ defiantly not bh as I get those non stop! But sure felt silly once they stopped, especially because it took me so long to commit going, but I was sure I was going to give birth that day!!! So frustrating especially since I was only 1cm...a little embarrassing!!!
Now no signs, back to square one!!!
Good luck Yamaha! Hopefully soon for you!!

Hi ladies.
Congrats to the new babies!
Well baby Liam entered our big wide world on the 19th. I woke at 5.45am and went to loo and therecwas blood everywhere, not a show but like a heavy period. I freaked out and we called midwife. Didnt have any pains or contractions but she wanted to check me over. On our way to the hospital i had 2 sharp pains but my uterus didnt contract with them. Got there and found a healthy heartbeat, checked me and i was 7cm and contractions started and 2 hours later baby liam was here weighing 7lb2oz and perfect. I am so pleased i waited until birth to find out gender. I am so inlove with him and he is so cruisy, i couldnt adk for a better baby, def way easier than my other two. I have no gd at all! I am still on cloud 9.
Hope everyone who is waiting has there adorable babies soon xxxx

Yes! 39 wks today! Went to hospital sat night with terrible contractions 31/2 min apart and thought it was def time...fizzled out after 4 hrs at hospital but then the dr didn't want me to leave bc I was already 5 cm! Was trying to give me pitocin or break my water, which I was refusing...I just wanted to go home! After 6 more hrs she finally let me leave! Have an appt at 2:30 today...I'll see what my reg dr tells me...
Hope you're enjoying your sweet girl!!!
