Aww Bec that sounds like so much fun! I would love a date night with DH right now... trying to be patient b/c MIL is keeping the kids for us to go out for a show a couple of weeks after we move. It's so nice to just get away for an evening from time to time! I'm glad you guys enjoyed bowling, even if you got owned hehe.
We always set a night each month and the kids stay at my mum and dad's place. We try to do something different each time which makes it lots of fun. One month I plan something and then the next month DH plans something.
How's the packing going?

So FF decided to make my O date a spotty line today because i havent been recording temps. I'm having cramps, its like AF is looming, i ecpect to see her in a day or 2. We DTD last night and there was no blood, usually there will be some this close to AF, so that is the teeny tiny little thing i am grasping at, but honestly i think im out.

Bec, packing is going pretty well. I just feel like it will never end but I know that it will eventually. Just counting down now... We will be able to start moving things to the house on the 10th (we can put stuff in the barn now, but the seller is moving out of the house the 9th). Our actual moving date is going to be the 14th since DH has the 14th and 15th off of work. I've packed most of what I can now, it's just going and over and over to see what I've not packed that can be packed now! And keeping this house clean so it will hopefully sell quickly!
Cinss I'm keeping FX for you <3

dloui - sorry about the spotting, that is always so scary. Glad your little bean is holding strong :)
Skrimpy - yay for a new house but boo for moving
Michelle - I swayed because I wanted a son, dh honestly didn't care. That said he's thrilled to have a son :)
PoP -geez, seriously wtf is up with that egg?
Cinss - be strong! fwiw 6/1 was when I got my bfp with Charlie and I thought for sure AF was on her way! FX!!!
5 - wow that's rough! My kids hang with and or spend the night with family several times a month. I will admit for quick trips I've left mine alone, I have great neighbors and know dd1 would go to them in an emergency.
Lola - glad you are saving for IVF, fx you'll be using it to baby shop instead :)

Just wondering we at WWAPP on FB were having a conversation if we had all girls if we would sway for a boy...some moms said no, a few said yes but only go give their husband a son. So if you are swaying for a boy, is it because you want a boy or to give your husband a son? thanks!!
Michelle
It's more for me. My DH doesn't really care at this point, although if given the choice, he'd probably choose a boy just because we already have 2 girls (they are from previous marriage, too....any baby we conceive, if we ever do, would be his one and only bio child...not that he cares bc he loves my girls as if they were his own, just saying....). I would just really like the experience of raising both genders of children. But honestly, when you can't conceive, you don't really care anymore.

Cinss, you never know...I felt super AFish when I got bfps in the past also. I think it's tricky because the symptoms are the same and you can get cramping from implantation, etc, right at pre-AF time. Are you gonna POAS in the morning?
POP, good lord, your cycle was like mine this month, late and weird! Do you feel like you Oed?
Skrimpy, GL with all the packing and house selling- saw the pics on FB, looks amazing! I love the stone fireplace! I added you to the group, btw. I was trying to do it on my phone and it was not letting me this weekend for some ridiculous reason.
RE: babysitting, we don't have family in town either, so I found an awesome girl who babysits my kids. She's mid20s and an EMT (medic) by day....get any better than that? I pay her $10 an hour though, so she always makes herself available if I need her, but that being said, we don't go out much because those nights can get pricey with $50+ added on for sitter. My girls go to their real father's house every other weekend, so we just go out then. If we ever had a baby, though, we'd be in the stay home all the time camp for sure! Unless I could entice my ILs to move here with a cute little grandchild. But you gals with older girls, start priming them to watch the brood! My DD1 is almost 10 and I bet she could watch herself and DD2 at 12 or so.

Wow no wonder those ppl on ebay were automatically outbidding me...they prob had that snipe!! thanks for the tip ladies!!
Hobbers, so sad about maternity clothes :( I am still in dire need! My bump today is about to burst out of my favorite purple work shirt! LOL
I went to goodwill before a few times but they dont have my sizes and have very little selection and all that was left was maternity jeans and too small tops and I already have maternity jeans I wear on casual Friday.
Lola, I'm in the US, in the state of Virginia.
Bec...when you said he thrashed you...at bowling...you got my hopes so high for a moment there! Geez, I think I'm going to have to turn to some trashy romance novels or something,...I am feeling so ardent and no one to give my love to! (DH does not do preg. sex, esp. when there is a bump! He is even more weirded out that we're having a girl this time and will not touch me sexually with a ten foot pole.) We were cuddling up yesterday and I started feeling frisky and he just gave me a look and said "You know I won't go there." /cries...why does he have to be such a dang tease?

POP, you never know, but hey, let's hope we both have more normal cycles next month if not knocked up now.
Aurora, you aren't far from me at all! Unfortunately, all of my maternity clothes are size S since I was little back then. I will have to probably get a whole new set myself someday if I get pregnant! But, hmmmm....know what I was thinking: I have gotten a few really cute work tops and such at Target that are stretchy. I justified my purchases by saying that I could wear them well into pregnancy if that occurs. They have a cute line of maternity clothes there too, Liz Lange. I;ve actually bought a few maternity tops lately since the baggy thing is in style. You may be able to find just stretchy tops that will work since it's pretty fashionable to wear drapey tops right now. Seems like there are a lot in stores, like tunics and such. But maybe check out Target if you are near one, or even Walmart or something.

PoP, thanks for the suggestion! I have heard that is a pretty sexy book!
I looked at your chart and FF says you're 3 dpo...do you agree/disagree?
Yeah, Lola, I know target has some cute stuff, but I don't want to spend 20 bucks per top. I may have too, just to get a few to make it thru! I may check goodwill again too, because the lady they said they get new inventory in obviously all the time and the maternity clothes go super quick!

Yea, I hear you on that, Aurora. I hate buying maternity clothes knowing they will be unused within a few months time. Good idea to keep hitting the resale/vintage shops. That's what I probably end up doing myself someday. I will need a few fancy things, though, with my job. I have to wear evening gowns a lot, which sucks the most. Can you imagine??? I've always thought I'd just invest in one nice black maternity gown and wear it to everything, which will get old, but I probably won't care at that point. I wonder if it would be kosher to have a buy/sell/give away section on this site? I know people send others unused HPTs and IVF meds and such......

Yeah, I've read the first fifteen or twenty pages free on Amazon.com but it hasn't gotten to the steamy parts yet!! I guess I just need to download it on my Kindle but for some reason I just do not enjoy books on my Kindle the way I do in real life...guess I am an old fashioned about that!!
Last night I had a crazzzzzzy sexual dream that it wasn't me (but some hot lady) and she was going to DTD with 10 diff guys! That is soooo unlike me.....sigh....I really need to get laid, lol. And besides cuddling and spooning, my husband will not do anything sexual at all to me when I get this pregnant. I didn't really need it that bad with the first two because I felt big and unattractive, but for some reason this time the body image crap hasn't bothered me and I just do not care...I just want him!
Cniss so sorry about the BFN :( I really hope this cycle is still not a bust, and that AF just does not show up, and you really are preggers, or at the least, that next month something clicks! Are you doing any boy swaying really at all anymore?

Lola thanks for the add :D I really <3 the new house, I can't wait for us to move in. We got run out of our current house for a showing today and have two more tomorrow. I'll be camping out at the library geez. I'm trying not to complain b/c it means it might sell but I'm finding it more stressful than I was expecting to try and clean up after the kids and change my whole routine for showings. Can't wait to move!!
Re: Maternity clothes... I have always been hesitant about buying them, but when I lost the baby weight from Honor in Jan-Feb and was looking good I decided I wanted to get some nice maternity things so I'd feel better about myself and more likely to maintain my fitness level (safely) throughout my next pg. I check out the thrift stores every week or two for kid stuff and I've been checking the maternity rack each time. I've found several nice tops already. I also found several cute skirts that I'm going to convert to maternity skirts myself. I basically only wear skirts and I wanted something cute. Haven't found maternity skirts to be flattering or comfortable!! So I'll do that once we're settled into the new house.
I also had some things sent by a friend I met through IG after she had her little DD, and those are really nice. I'm all about swapping and buying second-hand :)
I think a forum to swap/trade/sell would be nice too. I got a little doppler from the trade/sell forum on another mommy board I'm on :D

Skrimpy, it must be tiring trying to keep the house all nice and clean for the showings. I know how hard it was when we didn't have kids! When do you actually move?

Yesterday I did tell DH about my dream, and I told him how badly I wanted it. I went to bed really late (too late for how early I get up) and then in the middle of the night, my DH was actaully trying to give me some...but I turned him down because I was soooo zonked and worried about getting awake after DTD'ing and then getting even less sleep...now I'm kicking myself for it today, tho I am truly, truly zombie woman today...very sleepy!

Aw Cinss, sorry this was another bust cycle. I think your health plan is good too....can't hurt, that's for sure. If it helps, tell your DP that smoking is the worst thing for sperm. Lots of studies have shown it makes them abnormal....each time we had a m/c and at the urologist, the FIRST question out of their mouths was asking DH if he smokes. But hey, lots of smokers get women pregnant, but it's better anyway. I have been here, hun, and have tried many new approaches....I think if it weren't for our male factor issues, it would have worked a long time ago!
Skrimpy, glad to have you in the group! I know how crazy it is to be selling when you have kids- keeping the house immaculate at all times, having to vacate at times for showings, etc. Helped me to just keep my eye on the prize (selling), which it sounds like you are doing! I posted for NPB about a buy/sell/trade forum (or maybe just trade/give away, whatever is most legal for the site), so hopefully it can happen. I think it would be great, too! If I don't get pg, I'll have a bunch of cute maternity stuff to give away, but it's mostly size S. I have a mama friend with 7 and still going, and she had 3 girls in a row, so I'm giving her all the stuff my girls outgrow, and I love giving her stuff, knowing she can really use it. I am not inclined to sell stuff on Craigslist or Ebay, I just don't have time for that. And ITA about having some nice maternity stuff, it does help you feel a bit more pulled together and motivated. Honestly, I've only been buying things for the last 2 years that could be maternity and is drapey/stretchy. At least it could go for a while. That's awesome that you can alter stuff to be maternity!
Bec, I think the blue one is the hot Wiggle! Funny story: my oldest used to love them, and when they came to my city for a "concert," I ended up (long story) getting 2 tickets in the front row in the center with my DD1 and the blue Wiggle was STAGE FLIRTING with me, I swear!!!! It was the weirdest thing! And I'm no super looker or anything, I kept looking around wondering WTH and seemed like a lot of dads and such were in the front row also. It was probably because I was singing and dancing along because I'm a huge nerd and it was making my kid laugh, so he thought I was really into to it. This was after the dreams, too, so I thought maybe I was clairvoyant or something to be dreaming about this guy! I thought he must be the wild Wiggle who tried to hook up with the single moms after the show, LOL. Anyway, my DD1's eyeballs were like giant saucers the whole time, I loved it!

Aurora, BUMMER, bad timing Mr. DH! You've got to get a raincheck on that for tonight.

POP, I'm 6dpo today, but you know, I don't really get all worked up about the 2ww anymore. But good grief, one of us has to get picked off the TTC list this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a good note, my DH has been tasked with becoming giant muscle man for the coming ballet season. The artistic director wants him to be super buff as the opening ballet we do, he is the star of and has his shirt off in a few scenes (most notably when he gets violently staked through the heart in the end, always lovely to watch). So, he's been working out A LOT lately, and I'm hoping this lifting weights will increase his T levels or just do something good for his sperm, dammit! It's a change for him to lift weights for 2 hours a day, so FX it does some magic down there.
AND I haven't spotted or felt a cramp at all this 2ww, which makes me think that my cutting out fat and carbs for 2 weeks really messed up my body/cycle, and that I really needed a progesterone boost since I've been taking that in this 2ww too. I feel way more "normal."
