A big surprise because IT was hiding the whole time and even kept the legs crossed! I do get to go back in 2wks for a free scan.

I have more pictures but most are trying to find gender or of the hands and feet... We think the baby flipped us off when we ask to see between the legs!

I think the 2nd to last is a potty shot but just a bad one.

??? Don't boys play with themselves or do girls do the same to hid it???




..... It was a boy and he still loves to hold himself. He also is very shy around people and tends to hide his face in my shoulder.

I think its a girl tbh especially from the last pic, nice round head and no nub anywhere to be seen in the others, and its great you get a free scan! how nice of them! :agree:

Ooohhh - how frustrating to not find out after you were so nervous! I can't tell anything from your pictures, but in my experience the shy ones are most often girls. I think if there's a penis there the tech is more likely to see it. I really hope this is your girl!!!! :HH:

It was a 3d scan place that I paid for. But I am going to call my Dr because the placenta looked very low and I am concerned. Maybe my Dr can order a quick scan;)

I kept feeling like it was a girl. Even seeing that possible gender shot I still thought girl. Maybe it's just hoping but I have not had any boy feelings at all, just a fear that it would be a boy.

I don't know, PP, but that first one, the 3d shot kills me because it looks like The Thinker. Dang, why can't they get you back in there in a day or two????

They said 2 wks for a 100% on gender. I found something that say that you can see 2-3 dots up until 18wks and then a boy is very visible and a girl may not show well until 19-20wks.

I have to go to Dr today to talk about spotting and cramps. Maybe I can talk them into a scan.

Ok but I do still have spotting after doing stuff were I have to bend over (disher washer, washing machine, or picking stuff up on the floor). Some cramps in the evening when I finally sit to rest. But in the u/s the placenta was low so I just wanted to get it looked at. If I am at risk then we need to know so DH can continue the packing for the move.

My DD1 was constantly showing her sunny side on my 15 weeks scan lol!

Take it easy Purple huni, I know it's easier said then done with 2 little kids around, but maybe go to bed earlier or some other tactics for more rest?

I so I was like ummm those 3 dots have to be a boy cause they weren't in line! But that shows what I know cause I read back that those were. Informed girl guesses so why the heck wouldn't yours be a girl too it looks exactly like the other pics!!! So from a comparison point of view I'd say girl!! How exciting!!!!

My thinking is, if you see anything, that means boy. If you aren't sure/can't see anything, then that can mean girl! I think just that they didn't see anything is a super good sign.

The Dr visit was ok I guess.... The stubborn bub hid it's lower half behind the placenta to entire time. I have a low placenta but not covering the cervics. The pain and spotting is from everything growing.

So it looks like I have to wait for a repeat scan.... anatomy scan is 5/25 but I may hold off the 3d scan until a week or 2 after to get a good face picture. I have plenty to keep me busy until then.

It's not too much longer to wait, although I know everyone is dying to know. That's good that the placenta is not over your cervix and the spotting, etc is not a big deal.
