When is the best time to go for the 3D Scan?

28-32 weeks. Drink a ton of water the week before you go.

Yeah, I agree, the later you go the better. I had my u/s this time a 18 weeks and the 3D pic hardly looks like a baby yet-- still like a skeleton. Wait until the baby has some fat on him so he looks more like a baby. I had a scan done with my DS at 28 weeks, and those pics are great--they look just like he did as a newborn!!
