no sorry my first daughter had an irregular heartbeat so it couldn't really be measured, my second daughter heartbeat was the first time I heard a normal heartbeat but never counted to see how fast it was lol! (I didn't know about the whole heartrate OWT)

Mostly my kids were 140-150 ( I can't recall the 12 week exactly) I did go back through and check my son's and we had times he was 130, 170 and 150 so I don't think heartrate is that indicative of gender

At 12 weeks all my babies had fast heartrates. My OB even teased me and said DS2 sounded like he was going to be a girl based on heartrate!

So 12 weeks all my babies were higher than 150, my boys stayed consistently around 140-150 later on, and so far the girl has stayed around 158-168 consistently.

Gender Heartbeat predcition was not accurate for me. DS1 was over 160 from very early on (girl zone) and DS2 was in the low 140s (boy zone).

DD1 was always in the 150-160's, DD2 was 140-150's and at my 8 week scan this baby was 180 so I'm assuming its another girl, but we'll see

that 180 will drop considerably by the time your 12 weeks that could very well be a boy !

Some of these studies, we have to remember, it's an overall trend, like most men are taller than most women but there are still some women that are super tall and some men that are super short. So no one panic over this if they get into labor and baby has a high/low heartrate, don't start thinking hte ultrasound is wrong or anything!! :)

So I had two friends on Facebook that went for a prenatal and their drs said o your having a girl cause the heart rate was in the 160's I basically said to both the girls please tell your drs to go back to medical school and take it with a grain of salt... They both got very angry with me... They both wanted girls well in the last week they both found out they are having boys

:agree: with DS 2 his heartrate was 170-180 several times, and he's just sort of a stressed out dude most of the time. DD's heartrate was the lowest of the 5 and I was actually worried about her sometimes LOL - no, just laid back
