I have no pictures yet but does anyone know if the placenta theory of Ramzi works with a pregnancy with multiples?

Wednesday I was 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I went in for a scan and the nurse who did the ultra sound scan (vaginal) was sure she saw 1 sac with possible a heartbeat (she wasn't 100 percent sure) but possible 2 or 3 sacs. She wasn't sure if there was anything in. It was hard to see. I don't know if it is because I have a retroverted uterus or that it isn't a good machine or that it is too soon to see.

Anyway I'd like to know if I can use the Ramzi theory anyway (untill 8 weeks ofcourse) for the sac that wasn't empty and if so if I can use it also on the others (if they are filled). Or does this theory doesn't work anymore if there are more sacs?

I can't totally answer all your Q's but retroverted uterus can make it a lot harder to see in early ultrasounds, this I do know. Good luck!!

In reading the study again, they did not include twin pregnancies in it.

Thats what I thought too but my English on that level is not very high hihihihi so possible that theory wouldn't work with me?

Well, it wasn't evaluated so I cannot say. The theory seems to say that based on bloodflow needs, the placenta implants on a particular side for which it is best suited. So, I am not sure why it wouldn't hold true for multiples, but that's only a guess. The theory is not 100% of course.

Hihihihi i think it's just one (if I'm lucky there is really a heartbeat) but the technician thought she saw a second and third sac but wasn't sure there was something in there because it was hard to see. I can't believe that it's twins or even triplets I have practically no pregnany symptoms at all.....a bit nauseous in the morning for a few minutes but that's it! So I'm pregnant with one, not more if you ask me.

I can't find a technician in the Netherlands who knows her stuff about Ramzi theory so I don't know if I'm going to do that ultrasound. And like written before if it's more then one it's not clear that the theory works. I don't want to spent money for nothing.... Tuesday I have a "normal" ultra sound scan in the hospital maybe I can ask her things....
