I can not even watch the entire video without cringing. Does this look safe to you?

Oh my! I don't know about that. It seems like the child would just be so dizzy and throw up afterwards! I thought we had evolved past this and it seems this sort of practice should be reserved for the monkeys in the trees!

I guess if I was thrown all around from 2 weeks old, I wouldn't be afraid of some situations but I just don't understand the practice so I don't know how else to comment on it!

My first thought was shaken baby syndrome or arm socket issues. I can't imagine risking that with a baby

That looks like it would hurt the poor baby's arms :(

Who the hell decides it a good idea to whip an infant around?? If you look really closely, at one point the baby's face is red and it looks like she is crying. That's a pretty clear sign that baby does not enjoy that.

Does it look normal for a 2 week old to put their feet down walking like that? Isn't their natural reflex to draw their feet up??

I think that is one of the newborn reflexes but I am wondering if they have spliced together scenes with an actual baby and a doll.

That doesn't look healthy at all for baby, imo. I have seen some videos with babies being swung up by the legs but the babies are older (and I don't think I'd try it). That looked almost unreal... little babies need to be snuggled close!
