I got a faint bfp at the weekend. Went and got bloods done yesterday and my results have come back at 28. Af was due today. I ovulated either on the 7th or 8th. Doc has booked me in for more bloods on Thursday so it will be exactly 72 hours since last one. My hpt tests are not really getting darker maybe coz i can't hold on for very long! This mornings test was the same brightness as the one i took 2days ago. What are my chances of this pregnancy progressing with such low beta results? I have searchd the net but have not come across many success stories. Has anyone at betas this low at 4 weeks and had a happy outcome? I am a bit down and not feeling hopeful.

So that is low but one beta can't tell you either way. If you aren't bleeding, that's a good sign.

I am living proof that you have VERY good chances!!

My first beta was just 3 believe it or not, my second one was 26 and they kept rising there after. Hang in there!!!

Ok 19th January 2012 hcg 26.

LMP was 21 December 2011. So going by these dates should have been around 4 weeks pregnant. I will check my FF for when I think I O'd :)

15dpo is so very early depending on when implantation was you may only technically be pregnant for a week so i would expect the number to be quite low.

hi all. Just a quick update before i head off to bed, as you all know i got my bloods done today, my results were going to be there for me tomorrow but my lovely doctor rang me at 7pm tonite! he said my levels have gone from 28 to 101. exactly 72 hours between bloods, he said they are not as high as he would like them to have been but def a good sign, he wants me back on monday to get another lot done and then also book me in for a scan in my 6th week, if the levels hav not gone as high as he is expecting them go he is going to put me in for a scan next week just to make sure everything is where it is meant to be. so he said after i get my boods done on mon he will ring me that night so i dont have to wait til the tues. starting to feel a bit more relaxed. we have decided not to tell a soul (except you ladies of course) until the doctor is 100% happy with everything, he said he is only 75% happy at the mo compared to my last pregnancies as i have excellent results this one is being very stubborn! he said with my previous ones my results for the same dpo were double to what they are now (thats 4 other pregnancies) my lowest one at 14dpo was 97 this one was 28 so huge difference. so will realx a little more and wait until monday!
