CM Question

Hi Ladies,

Coming over here to swaying cause I have a question about CM.

Generally, from when I swayed, I know when I ovulate from my CM, but this cycle has been very weird, ovulation is late and instead of clear CM, it has been white or cloudy the whole time. I think I am now approaching ovulation, it is quite stringy BUT it is still cloudy.

Is this normal? Usually I get the EWCM at this time. Why would it be cloudy still. I don't think I ovulated and even if I did, it wouldn't be stringy still, or would it?

It is day 17 and I generally ovulate day 16.

Any ideas? (and no there is no infection :) )

You may be Oing late and so you're still having infertile CM. OR, you may be lower in estrogen and so your CM is thicker than normal and cloudy even at ovulation. Are you dehydrated at all or have you been sick recently?? Taking any antihistamines or decongestants??

I'm sorry if you've posted this before, but did they have any reason why you didn't O Cycle 6?? Was your CM unusual that month too?? That may help shed some light on what's going on.

Be sure to use protection even tho you don't have true EWCM - you can get pg with cloudy CM.

Hey Atomic, thanks for this. This was for cycle 6, basically my results came in later that day and I wasn't even close to ovulating, so they cancelled, it was going to be an unmedicated FET. I am thinking after the IVF it is just taking a bit longer to regulate my cycle. Last month, I think I was like close to 2 weeks late and I know I ovulated, but it was really late. I just thought that this month it would of all gone back to normal, but not so.

We are moving on to medicated now :)
