Hi everyone first I want to say hi and I'm glad to be here.
We are planning to sway for a girl starting in July. My first three children were conceived through the Shettles method, though we were not trying or swaying. My daughter was three days before ovulation. My oldest son was the day of ovulation and my youngest son was the morning after, the morning that my temperature spiked. My daughter was missionary partial pullout, and my sons were both deeper penetration complete ejaculation.
I am going to attempt to re-create my daughter's conception has accurately as possible. We will attempt every day until about four days before ovulation. Then we will sustain. I have upped my calcium and magnesium and am adjusting my diet. When we got pregnant with my daughter my husband wore tight wranglers, he does not wear those now but he is a truck driver so he is keeping things warm just by sitting. I am going to order some pH test strips and would like to use the lime douche. I have also thought about ordering the Lydia Pinkhams supplement, has anyone used?
Can you please give me some feedback on my plans and any suggestions you think I should include?
Thanks so much!

What are you doing with your diet? For the supplements I would drop the calcium and magnesium. I would add baby aspirin and vitex. Also if you are one who produces a lot of EWCM then i would incorporate zrytec to dry up your CM. Studies have shown that timing is your least important factor. I would focus on the diet first, then supplements, then if you are going to abstain or FR, then timing. There are a lot of ladies on here that have gotten pregnant with girls the day before and day of ovulation.

Hi CMC and welcome.

We don't always do things the traditional way on this site and you can read the reasons why here:
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion/7507-ig-vs-gd-swaying-whats-difference-who-atomic-sagebrush-anyway.html

Timing has been debunked and we are getting many successful pink sways DTD on O-1 and O Day. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion/7691-trouble-timing.html

Some people have had success using cal-mag, but several of us had success without cal-mag after having failed sways WITH it. The scientific case against cal-mag swaying is here (this is a 3 part essay, links in the first to the other two. The discussion after the threads, esp. the third one, is also helpful.) http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/610-calcium-conundrum-controversial.html If you do decide to use cal-mag, I hope you drop the Vit. D part of the equation, because we think that Vit. D probably sways blue.

Most of us have not been doing lime douche and have been having success using RepHresh instead, plus antihistamines to dry up CM.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-girl-best-practices/518-using-antihistamines-help-ttc-girl.html and http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-girl-best-practices/1066-complete-guide-replens-rephresh.html

I don't personally like Lydia Pinkham - there are some ingredients in it that are not proven safe and two that may sway blue by raising your estrogen levels. Further analyzing my conception w dd, I had just stopped bcp. It was my first cycle off the pill. I had lost about 20 pounds in the two years prior and I had a very standard traditional diet. With my boys I was overweight, but also nursing what I conceived both of them. I have read that diet soda helps but I am allergic to sugar substitute. I am going to order some pH test strips, hopefully that will help.

first cycle off the pill DEF. sways pink. Losing weight sways pink too.

Don't worry about the diet soda, plenty of people have never touched the stuff and gotten baby girls.

Let us know if you have any more q's!!!

Hmmm, well I'm not opposed to starting bcp and postponing ttc. I have not taken it in so long because I was always nursing. Also wondering if bf hormones could have had any impact on me having boys....
I'm kind of thinking I won't really be able to decide what route to take until I test my ph. Hopefully they will get here soon.

There are some biological reasons I think BF sways pink, but tons of people have gotten boys while BF as well. Here's the swaying and breastfeeding thread (there are a couple general info threads in there about conceiving while BF as well which you should def. read.) http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion/2200-swaying-while-breastfeeding.html

I got a boy and a girl while TTC and breastfeeding.

There are tons of other strategies aside from BCP that will sway for you!!
