Timing question

I have a question about timing and sperm count. My husband is a truck driver not one who feels the need to release frequently. he will be home in three weeks when we will try for our girl. The question is since he's basically not been releasing in the past month and a half should we dtd a couple times a day from when he comes home until just before ovulation. Or should we abstain until three days before and only try that day?

experts, please correct me if i am wrong, but there are some risks associated with abstaining. so you might want to look up the post....

I read the post you are thinking of. DH goes very long periods of time with any release. So other than abstaining we would need to bd at least twice a day every day that he is home until O-2. Would 4 days be enough to lower sperm count?

I can't tell you what to do, you have to decide what feels comfortable to you as a couple.

4 days of compressed FR (2-3 releases a day) is enough. 4 days of regular FR is probably not enough.
