So I had my AF on the 3rd of this month and I have NOT seen any CM at all... Is this normal? I've been doing the diet here and there... Nothing really strict. I've just been watching my calories and what I eat, but I've been drinking Diet, CL and My usual one cup of coffee in the morning with a packet of equal in it for over a month now. I also have been taking Vitex and folic acid since I started AF. I used rephresh on calender day 9 to.. Think all of the above could have something to do with it? I forgot to add I am having the watery thin cm though... Just not any ew. Thanks girls..

Yes, it can be normal when changing your diet.

Thanks Atomic... You think it's becoming more of a :pinksperm: environment due to the no ew and just the watery cm? DH and I dtd on day 9 an hr or two after I had applied the rephresh, was in the early early morning turning into day 10 but I'm not sure when I could have ovulated or would be ovulating though. I noticed the watery cm yesterday afternoon.

somewhat related, atomic, does ewcm definitely favor boy? ie, if you have lots of it, are you not doing enough diet/supplements whatever?

the best evidence we have indicates that yes, less CM does seem to sway pink. I don't have a study that I can show you that investigated that in particular but that is my belief.

For future reference, you need to use RepHresh 8-12 hours before your attempt. 1-2 hours before attempt kills most sperm and makes it pretty tough to get pg.

Janie, I simply don't have data to say for sure. What I personally think, is that it is numbers of sperm that are able to survive in your body, and end up making it to the egg is what sways (either in part or in whole). EWCM or lack thereof, is just one of many ways to ensure that fewer sperm survive to reach that egg. If your husband had super low sperm count, you may need a lot of CM to make sure that anything survives to reach the egg and in that circumstance you could be totally swaying pink even with a lot of CM.

Plus, again I don't have enough data to say definitively but this is my belief, even when you have CM, it may have qualities to it that sway in some way that we cannot see with the naked eye. There are chemicals and proteins in CM that may sway in ways that we haven't even begun to guess at.

It's NEVER one thing in isolation that sways, it's the whole package.
