I am starting to swim laps in our local pool. What kind of exercise does this fall under? Too much cardio? (I'm swaying for boy) I'm a runner right now and run about 10-15 miles a week so I don't feel like it's excessive. But I wonder if the swimming will change anything.

Also, the chemicals in the pool - are they bothersome one way or another?

thanks!

Swimming 4-5 days a week, 45 min or less is fine for blue. Actually better than running because you are working your arms and also the large muscles in your back. Plus, working both arms and legs together ups T levels more than just doing one or the other.

IG says chemicals in pool water sway blue, I think they're probably neutral, but use some Preseed when you BD and it won't matter anyway!

Oh, great news! I really enjoyed the swimming today and want to continue. I think I can only go twice a week though I will look into it. I need to find something else to replace the running for awhile I think. My husband is a huge runner/marathoner and is going to maybe do p90x to replace his running for awhile.

Never heard of preseed or why it helps - do you have a link to what it does? I will buy some!

Twice a week is fine! For blue, you want to avoid doing TOO much because that depletes your body too much and can inadvertently lower your testosterone.

If swaying was easy, someone would have figured it out a long time ago!

Keep asking q's and pretty soon it will all fall into place! ;)
