I've felt this baby is a girl right from the moment I found out I was pregnant. My 11wk 5day nub guesses were mostly girl but the more I read about the in accuracy of nubs in the 11th week (even though it's 2 days off 12weeks) has worried me. Feeling really down today...

This! I would even lean boy ever so slightly, 55% or so, something about the shape of the tip and length makes me think this nub would look boyish a week ahead... early nub shots are just not reliable (unless htey look super boyish in which case they rarely look girly later on). I hope I am wrong.

Hi everyone, just seen the replies :) more girl guesses!! My DH really wants a surprise baby but I have been driving myself crazy analysing nub shots for weeks!! So I booked a secret scan for July 18th (16weeks gestation) but then worried that I was doing the wrong thing....also I'm petrified of finding out as I really would like a girl. I cancelled the appointment yesterday :( I just don't think I could have lived with myself if I found out as I would have to lie to my DH. One minute I want to know the sex, the next I don't. It's almost like I don't want my pink dream to disappear if I find out its a boy...but on the other hand I don't want to set myself up for a fall. Honestly I'm a bit of a hormonal wreck at the moment!!!

I just had a look at yours I hope you dont mind just saw this post and its given me hope :cheerteam: on ingender i got 90% girl votes on angle but on here i got 80% boy votes because the nub looks boyish. So with 12 weeks to go and still team yellow, I'm back to nub-sessing again!! Can anyone tell me if the small arched line under the start of the nub (body side) could indicate a scrotum? I'm still hoping do much that this is my girl so I just want to know if this small curve might indicate a boy? I know my babies nub is less than parallel (slopes down slightly towards the body) so I'm still hoping I'm carrying a pink one!

It is a lovely girly nub and i do put a lot of stock into mothers intuition if it is a genuine gut feeling, but as you know nubs before 13 weeks ish are unaccurate as they can still rise. Hopefully you will hear pink though - when is your next scan

Thank you for your reply. I'm due in 7weeks and we didn't find out the sex so it'll be a delivery room surprise. When I put the lines on the picture it showed that the nub was less than parallel to the spine (leaning downwards) which gave me hope....I think I'm just having a hormonal day at 33wks pregnant

I also have a little boy that I adore, but would LOVE LOVE LOVE a little girl this time (although I haven't admitted this out loud to anyone, my family would be quite judgey about it)!!!

Well I was hoping baby would be here now....but here I am updating this thread feeling pretty miserable as I'm now 7 days overdue. I've had 2 unsuccessful sweeps, some twinges but nothing major. I just really want to meet my baby now :(

To make this slightly worse, everyone including my midwife has said it's a naughty little boy! Apparently girls are never this late? Aagghh, I'm so down today
