So I have been reading all the information here to plan my pink sway (and btw this site is amazing isn't it!)

I usually have long cycles and O anywhere from day 20 to day 30. This month I thought we'd be safe to bd without protection on cd 10 and 11, and fertility friend has put my O day as cd14 whoops!

Obviously the chances of me actually being pg are pretty small, but I can't help thinking if I do catch it will be another bouncing baby:babym: lol

I guess the weight loss has changed my cycles a bit...oh well lesson learned now

I wouldn't say for sure it'd be a boy...everyday women concieve and do not "sway" and get girls and boys in almost even 50/50 distribution! Also, I still believe that anytime a cycle is wonky or weird can be better for a girl conception! I concieved this girl on CD12, where my boys were CD14's. I think ovulating early may have helped in my case!

Keep us updated and don't fret :)

Thank you auroara, and huge congrats on being pg with your special little girl, you must be over the moon:bigsmile:

I'm sure I won't end up being pg, but if I was I'd be happy with either one...I think my default setting is boys though and I was hoping a good sway might even up the odds a little bit to 50/50 (obviously I realise that there is no scientific reason for me to make boys, but everyone who knows me thinks I'm a boy making machine lol)

It would be kind of ironic if after all my planning I ended up with an oopsie baby:bigsmile:

I agree with the other posters - first of all you're losing weight, secondly your cycle had changed which can indicate your hormones are different (more pink friendly) and finally, people conceive both boys and girls all the time without swaying!

KFX for the best possible outcome whatever that may be!!

PS - I also Oed a couple of days early than I expected to the cycle I conceived my DD.
