Hi everyone, just thought I'd poke my head in to see how my old friends are doing. Happy to see you Kraizy, Suregena, Lassie , and some other familiar names. But my heart also breaks that you are still in this difficult and emotionally trying time of TTC . You are such wonderful women with a lot of determination and focus, and I admire you for your patience. Just offering some positive affirmations to keep your spirits high and to remind you what an amazing job you are doing and that you should be very proud of yourselves...this is not an easy journey!
Hope you are all keeping well and even though I don't come on here much anymore I still do think of you all and hoping life is treating you well. Big love :bighug:

AFM I have less than 3 weeks til I found out if this little bean is a pink one or a blue one! My fingers remain firmly crossed!:fx:

Hi ladies. I haven't read the thread I took a break bc as some of you know I was told I needed to get my medical stuff in order and stop ttc. Well, last night I got the go ahead I am finally in remission and healthy enough to try again. I'm not exactly sure if I'm going all natural or going to do HT. At doc now and I am going to discuss a plan.

Lassie, I started AF today. :( I went to bed with a headache, woke up with a headache and have kept myself medicated all day do to this headache. :(
I think using the progesterone cream has made all my pms symptoms HORRIBLY worse...I am so tired and my bbs are HUGE.

Anyway, at least I'm on CD1 of starting back on my journey...AND AF arrived one day early, so that's one less day I have to wait to ttc.

Wishing you ladies LOTS of luck!! :) XX

Hi- I just stuck with my one attempt. Oddly after my usual O day, I can REALLY feel O, but this time around I did not feel it, but rather mild cramping. And this cramping just has continued. I begin to feel it in the morning or around dinner time. It isn't really painful but I do feel it in the lower abdomen and sometimes in legs - just odd! Just waiting 2WW! I haven't really cheated with diet except have had a couple snacks here & there mainly candy or low-fat ice cream, just in case...
Hope everyone is doing well and FXX for those still waiting!!

Hey Beadin!

Sorry to hear AF arrived : ( But on the bright side, you get another chance at to perfect your attempt! XX

Well, I will be with you next month. AF arrived this morning. I woke at 4 am, went to the toilet and saw. I was planning on testing today, so very glad I got AF before I tested. I find it's better to handle than an negative HPT!

I have an appointment (1st) with a Fertility Specialist this week, which I am looking forward to. She will look into my short luteal phase. I'm assuming she will put me on clomid, but not sure what type of tests etc she will do first. So because I don't see her until CD6, I might not start medication until next cycle?? That will suck!
I am feeling ok about AF actually. I have been super busy moving house, so it has been great to keep occupied and not waste time imagining implantation etc!

Hope you are feeling ok? Hope AF has eased up on you.

Good luck to all! XX

Beadin - I still haven't gotten those darn pregnancy tests! I have decided that whatever day they come is the day I start testing. LOL! I have to negotiate POAS with myself or else I might waste a perfectly good test.

Thanks ladies!! You guys are too sweet!! :) XX

Spent the day celebrating my youngest...today is his 7th birthday. :) We took him to lazer tag...they had a blast. When we got in the car to leave, I started to cry. My DH looked at me like WHAT IS GOING ON?! I guess it's the hormones, but I just felt so incredibly blessed in that moment. To have such amazing boys and a really great husband. Crazy, I know. lol. Sometimes I'm so silly.

Maple, I'm so sorry AF showed (although I totally know what you mean about it being better to see her than a BFN...at least when she shows, you know the journey is still moving forward and you don't have to wait for her, plus the BFNs are so disappointing). I am glad that you have your appt coming up with the RE...at least you know the ball is rolling. And Clomid sways girl big time, so that's a great thing! You have to keep us posted on each step of the way. And once that baby girl gets here, we want lots of pictures!! :)

I'm off to make a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting now...that's what the fireman's order was. lol. :)

Maple - how many days has your LP been?

Hey NC - usually 10 days. The shortest I have had over the last year is 8 days, longest 11 days. I'm not sure if it is an issue or not, but worth checking out I think. I ovulate later in my cycle usually CD20 of a 31 day cycle. But Im sure my body tries to O earlier than that, but the egg just doesn't get out of the gate?

Hi ladies hope you don't mind me joining you. This is a little info about me. I have 3 boys and I'm ttc girl I'm on cd6 so getting ready for 2nd try. I've been doing diet 90% supps mag, cal, etc. my main question is; with all my boys we dtd every other day from af to af is that fr? What shall I do this time? My dh is 45 so I don't think he will be willing to do fr and I'm not sure if absence will be good either please advise if you have any ideas !!! Ph currently 5-6 using replens or refresh. Ps I hope I'm in right place

Hi Coj13- I was advised because my DH was over 35 (he's 43) that he needed to do FR. So he began FR a few days before AF to O. Also, I believe every other day sways boys. I only did one attempt at my first pos OPK stick - I am in 2WW hoping to have a positve preg test - so we will see... Also, from what I have read calcium/mag tends to sway boy as well and I would not take those supplements. The supplements that are favored on the LE diet are listed on this site. I took, but you may want something different, vitex and saw palmetto (from AF to O), folic acid, a low dosage aspirin every other day. The LE diet is huge on this site, and you can find many tips and gain a lot of knowledge looking over the forum.
Good luck

This 2ww is so going to drag! I'm only on cd20 of a 29-31 day cycle and I'm growing impatient lol!

Quick question, for probably the last 6-8 months or so I've noticed that I'm getting more ovulation/ period type pains that start before and carry on for a few days after I get a +opk. They can be quite uncomfortable and are usually around my lower back and round the front of my hips. Does anyone else get this?
This is my first month of trying with the LE diet sway, we started trying for our 3rd baby last November and I was using Shettles and not getting pregnant, we had a break from ttc from March to now because my cycles started going weird. One month my af arrived only 4 days after I got a +opk (which is usually around cd17), and other months I would start spotting around when my af was due and it would go on for 3-4 days before my af actually properly started. I'm thinking it is probably just a psychological thing but wondered if any of you had experienced something similar?

Fingers crossed everyone still waiting gets their BFP and hugs to those whose af has already arrived. xx

Yes IG is different from this site! I started on IG then discovered this site. The LE diet, I think, is easier to follow. If you look at others sway attempts those that stayed on calcium/mag seemed to have swayed boy, not all, but most.

Ok ladies, I am still in 2WW and am assuming AF should show next week since I delayed OV by a week with using Vitex. But if AF were on original schedule, it would come tomorrow... My symptoms after DTD: this past Wednesday had some slight cramping, not like AF cramping it felt different, then Friday had twinges on right side with again cramping. The cramping is very prevalent in the morning and at night. Today I have had a light brown spotting... Don't know if this is just my body all out of whack from getting put off on a different schedule??? Curious to see what this all means... Anyone else experiencing body symptoms?
