So wasn't planning on trying till August so I wouldn't have too many Spring birthdays and thought I would hit new moon right on OV day, but that seems like it won't happen since AF came on Tuesday. I saw positive OPK on CD12, CD 13, CD14, but really have O pain on CD 14 from morning till night. If I try this go round and have positive OPK on CD 12, that will put us close to the New moon which falls on the 18th this month, is this ok??

Anyways, DH has not started FR, is it too late for him too? I am on Vitex, SP, Aspirin, Folic and diet sodas. DH is on LR, but just started. Any suggestions? I've also lost 8 pounds since diet.

Actually I think it would allow DH enough time as he would have 8 days of release before CD 12, and I don't think I would try till CD13...

Thanks Atomic! Although we went out of town this weekend, so sadly NO FR happened! I am on him to go do it tonight!! I think the pressure is on and it may not happen - lol! I figure maybe if he starts that maybe we could get 5 days in before a real attempt - I don't know ;-( I really would like to just try, but maybe August is more realistic. Will Vitex buy me more time? This was my first time using it.

Atomic or anyone if you see this, please chime in? So DH did FR on Sunday, if I am anticipating positive OPK on or around CD12 or 13 (which is this Saturday 14th or Sunday), will 6-7 days be enough or will it sway boys? I am really hoping I get a late positive... I wanted to try a couple attempts, but I may only make it on one day, right? Help...

Yes I don't think we will get in the 8 recommended days... In fact, I worry that I should start early with trying which may force him to doa morning FR which may be just 6 days, we DTD that night and the next day. I don't know slightly confused. Should I just wait till I get the positive OV and DTD then, which could provide 8 days of FR for him or even more, just depending on when I get that positive OPK... He's 42, I am just stressing because I know it's best for him to FR.

I BD'd at positive opk. I think you've got enough time in with FR...if I were you, I'd go for it.
Good luck! My DH & I had 7 days of FR, missing a day in there.

I would always BD at pos OPK because timing doesn't sway and yields best odds of pregnancy.

6 days of FR is still pretty decent. WAY better than DTD every 2-4 days!!!
