In preparation for next month i have ordered my soy isoflavones.

This is our 6th cycle, and i have pretty much dropped everything except the LE diet. I just want to get pregnant already!

having read the soy article I'm guessing that the best solution for me is to take it on CD3-CD7 - and 200mg a day??

Is this correct? if not please let me know what CD's i should take it, and how much i should take.

Anything else i need to know? Will keep the zrytec handy to dry up excess ewcm..is that the best thing to do?

There will not be anything else in my sway for the month, just LE diet, folate, iron and zinc.

I took soy for 3 cycles...the cycle I got pregnant I took 200mg from Cd3-7....I actually O'd alot earlier that month...like CD12....I had to use preseed because the soy made everything really dry....I am expecting a girl....Hope that helps

Last month was my first month and I took 180 a day on days 3-7. Be careful when you're looking at amounts -- you may need to go by what percentage of SI there is on the back. I had what looked and felt like several false starts to o (check out my chart) and lots of cm. still in the 2 ww so I can't tell you how successful ther are yet. ;) good luck!

I took 100mg cd 3-7 and conceived a boy. I ovulated really late cd 28 but I also took robitussim, green tea, grapefruit juice, multivitamin, fish oils, vitex, maca, b6 , vitamin c, and b12. I bet there was more too. It was my first actual cycle after breastfeeding. Oh and I used the instead cup so I was primed for a boy. I wish I had known that all of this swayed boy but I would nt trade him for the world. I just dont wAnt to get your hopes down because I think it will be helpful in actually swaying pink! Good luck!

Hi Lassie, I would have you start off at 100 mg (this would be the equivalent of 50 mg Clomid.)

I'd probably keep Benadryl on hand because it works within 1-2 hours, unlike the Z which takes 6 hours to get rolling. So you could use it as a true last minute rescue only if you needed it.

Great point, there are different formulations so just doublecheck - you want the amount of soy iso in the pills, not the amount of mg in the pills themselves.

Hi what are these and how are they used in a pink sway ? Would they replace anything you might be taking on a pink sway ? Is there anything they cant be taken with ? Thanks and sorry to interupt your post. x

I know comId should not be taken with it and I thought I heard that you can't take vitex either but I'm not Sure. I know that it acts in the same way as clomid and you take it the same way but I'll let some one more experienced answer this!

There is a whole thread on this called Super Soy. I can't seem to link to it (I'm on my phone) but maybe someone else can? It should show up in a search, too. Good luck!

atomic - i noticed in the essay it mentioned that for a girl DH can take low level of SI, can this be mixed with LR?
If no, which should DH do? LR or Soy ?
I'm still toying wether to get DH to take anything this month...the only girly part of my sway is diet

It's best to have him take the LR and eat foods with soy. The SI are so highly concentrated i worry that it could raise his estrogen levels too much and end up causing erectile dysfunction.

I have daily headaches, but that is a chronic problem. I don't think soy made them any better or worse.

I hope yours go away soon!

On a positive note - at least the headaches mean that I know it's doing something lol.

Sorry about the chronic headaches shell, that must be a pain!

Eating soy can give me headaches so that doesn't seem out of the ordinary!

Lassie, I tried 200mg/day from CD 3-7, which is the recommended dose, but I found the side effects to be too much for me (debilitating, cyst-burst-like ovarian pain and hot flashes).

100mg might be better if you are having a lot of side effects. I know you are almost done or are done taking it now, but just thought I would mention what was my experience. :) Good luck!
