Newbie here with funny BD position question.

:think: Alright ladies, I'm new here trying to learn about TTC a boy. It seems to be recommended to use doggy style to TTC boys. Well, I must admit that is not our typical position, so here's my question. You can all start laughing now......:giggle: how do I get from that position to hips propped without losing all the swimmers? I know moving fast will help, but I just am worried I'll lose all the boys...especially if we start laughing, which we have a tendency to do in such situations (the trying to flip over part after BDing, not the actual act). haha didn't want you all to think we just laugh our way through BDing every time

Ha I've been think about this too. . .I read a few girls say they did missionary with dh standing up and dw laying on the edge of the bed. I think maybe heels on his shoulders could help too:)

Thank you, atomic....I was trying to psych myself up for the doggy-style for our attempt, but after reading that info I think we will be better off with one of the others. I just want to make sure to keep the swimmers in for the long haul.:cool:

There are positions where you can get very deep penetration while on your back, so no flipping needed! Try the "deep stick" (google it if you want pictures :oops:).

I did doggy style and I lost some swimmers but not too much when I flipped onto my back, there are other positions where you can get deep, I say practice some of them to see which position you feel DH the deepest :wink:

One of the women who first told me about Shettles many ages ago was trying for a boy and they DTD with doggy (which she described to me and the elderly neighbor woman I was with in horrifying detail)...and it was a girl! I think some of the other positions are better for TTC anyway.
