Hello! I have been looking into tribulus terrestris for swaying boy and everything says to stop taking it 5 days before af and then resume after because it increases follicle stimulating hormone. So why do you stop before AF and not before O? Isn't FSH highest just before O? Sorry, this may be a dumb question but I'm confused. The reason to stop is so you don't release more than one egg, correct? I guess I'm most confused as to why you stop before AF.
Thank you!!

I'm not totally sure and not coming up with anything after a quick Google search, but remember that your body has a complex chain of hormonal events that have to occur in order for AF and O to occur. So my suspicion is that FSH is not SUPPOSED to be high before AF, because you're not meant to be developing eggs at that point and it may mess your hormones up if you're taking something that increases FSH during parts of the cycle it's not supposed to be elevated.
We have a pretty interesting thread on TT here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-boy/2884-elp-viene-thoughts-tribulus-terrestris.html Most of us ended up not taking it.
