Nub and Skull guesses please......

Well went for my scan today, baby was very photogenic! I was exactly 13 weeks.
Not sure what i feel, i am so in love with this baby already. Its funny coz even tho I swayed i am realy not bothered about gender, will not be finding out gender until birth but still would love guesses. Tech gave me her feeling what she thought.

so very true, but like i said, even though i swayed i dont actually really mind, i swayed more for DP who really wants a girl but the more i think about it a boy would be just as great!!!

I have a cd of the scan at home with all the still images but these are mainly it. Ill see if i put any different ones on facebook. I took the very first pic (the one that is also below that i added lines onto) and enhanced the brightness and there is no blob on the end at all, im just really confused now! Ill see if i can find anymore

I just went and had look at photos on first page again, the 2nd lot i posted, in the pic where i have drawn the lines, the baby looks more curled up than what it does in the pic below? so would that have inpact on the nub?

Only me again K:) I just wanted to write a little bit more about your pics as they are intriguing me! The thing is they remind me pics I have from both my son and daughters scans. Firstly to me the head shape looks slightly more boyish in all pictures but head guessing is very hit and miss so thats just for fun:) The nub in your top pic looks quite short and im just not sure if there is a little angled blip at the top? Your 2nd pic looks just like a pic from my DDs scan (I think its in the confirmed girl pics) Your bottom skull pic looks pretty flat rather than rounded but again skulls are tricky monkeys:)

Your new pic shows a lovely long white girly line surely thats a girl!??

K, please have a quick hunt for my confirmed girl and boy pics, youll be able to see why yours remind me of both. I'm routing for pink for you though and will be leaving my guess at a useless 50/50, sorry xx

I am really obsessing over these pics!!!! Really need some more guesses. Is there a shadow above the nub? I wish i could get another scan but it is near impossible without having to travel a 3 hours to get one!

ok so very very obsessed, someone get that white jacket out for me now! my midwife laughed at me today but as i bribed her with chocolate she has written me a referal to get another scan done on sunday, I have finally found a clinic that do elective ones with a referal, so it will be a 30 min appt and all to get decent photos..... see how obsessed i am! yes crazy but this is really my only chance to even get a slight clue of gender as DP will be with me at 18 week scan and is adamant we are not finding out so wont even be able to get a hint or a clue, so me an my best friend are going "shopping" for a day (he has no idea about me getting this other scan, he would tell me off big time!) but i need to do it. I will be travelling 2.5 hours to this clinic, crazy i know but as much as i wanted to stay team green after seeing my gorgeous wee bub yesterday and falling in love i want to picture a female or male, regardless i love it to bits, but so can not wait until January! The other thing is i want to guess this way rather than it being confirmed at 18 weeks by a professional. once its been confirmed by then the surprise is takin out of it, but this way im guessing and your all helping me with guessing so i wont get my hopes up for either and will be prepared for girl or boy in jan but just want to kinda have a clue if that makes sense......???? yea told ya i was crazy!

So i got my rulers out and was tryin to figure out measurements, the nub is below 30 degree angle. I just confused now, really wanna know if that is something on the end of it. Time will tell on Sunday

The other thing is i want to guess this way rather than it being confirmed at 18 weeks by a professional. once its been confirmed by then the surprise is takin out of it, but this way im guessing and your all helping me with guessing so i wont get my hopes up for either and will be prepared for girl or boy in jan but just want to kinda have a clue if that makes sense......???? yea told ya i was crazy!This makes perfect sense:) And is exactly what I will do with any future pregnancies. Baby Dave was the only one we ever found out on and it did ruin part of the pregnancy for us. Have a little idea but still hold on to that 'what if' possibility! Cant wait for your new pics!!!!!!!!!!!

Just want to add my :twocents: if you are worried about the pics that the baby looks curled up i wouldnt worry about those,only take the ones where they are lying flat,the pictures can really change the guess if baby is moving or curled,take a look at mine for instance i had boy guesses on mine especially on IG where she was moving and her spine was curled ,even though i had 2 very girly nubs as well:wink:,plus if you are planning to get another scan you might not hear a definate answer so early either at 13 14 weeks its still has time to rise..i would try to go when you are at least 15w.i still think :DD: though:)

Thanks ladies. I never knew about the nub theory with my other 2 and don't have any pics to compare. They only gave me photos of their heads which is completely different shape to this one but also this is a different dad! Got an elective scan on Sunday as its the only time i can do it, my partner doesn't know! I have never been obsessed before and its very time consuming! I have looked at every nub pic i can find! Imy gut feeling keeps changing, i always thought girl from very start coz i had easy pregnancies before and this one I've been so sick then after seeing the shadow on the end of that clear nub it makes me think boy but other nub makes me think girl! Lol the joys.
