Now I know that if I need IVF there is no way to sway, but come September more then likely I will be going through clomid + IUI. Is there any way to still sway?

Thanks NBP! But the IUI will totally do away with the hostile cervical mucus, so I can't do anything that sways, I wonder if DH can? Or is it just up to God (as it really is anyway) once the IUI's start. I know that IUI's sway boy. I just hate that after this long I am not going to get my girl.

Stacey here in the HT forums did IUI and is having twins, and if you look on the ultrasound prediction board, lots of ppl say the two babies look like girls!! I don't think IUI is only boys...i think there is a lot of hope there for a girl too.

Hi kaseybaby, I am going to be going through the same thing in August... so I'm hoping for stories of success with girls too! And it does seem that the benefit of the hostile CM is somewhat lost with IUI.
Good luck on your cycle!

I swear I answered this thread, I am losing my mind!!
With IUI, it's best just to do what they tell you to do to optimize your chances of pg and then let the chips fall where they may. It's very likely that you bypass most of the environment that does the swaying to begin with and it may end up being just sheer luck at that stage of the game.
The prob. with trying to sway while doing HT, even just IUI, is that it is hard enough to get pg while doing IUI anyway and swaying only makes it harder. So you end up cutting down your odds of pregnancy significantly while doing nothing to sway because the IUI bypasses everything that sways anyway.
I'd just do diet (to some extent, don't go overboard) and then proceed with the IUI and hope the Clomid was working some magic too!

Ugh...I really can't believe it has been so long and now I need IF treatments. I hate giving up the little control I had in all of this.

I totally understand Kasey. I'm sorry. I hope and pray that this next part of the journey will be easy.
