Okay so my cycles are about 32-34 days long and I dont O until around CD 18 or 19....I would like to go back to my 28 day cycle when I would always O on CD 14. I am actually thinking of going on BCP pills for a month or 2, in the past that has always worked...first cycle off th pill my cycle is 28 days, and I am always very fertile. Is there anything natural I can try???

You can try vitex to see what happens, but your best option would be to go back onto the BCP since that has worked for you in the past.

BCP DO seem to sway pink so that's all good for you!

I just read the craziest thing - if you sleep with the light on in your room for the three days around ovulation, that helps regulate your cycles! It's something to do with the full moon - a lot of women naturally ovulate with the full moon and have their periods when the moon is new, so by having that light on around ovulation, you can sometimes reset a wacky cycle to be more in tune with nature! And it was based on an actual study involving over 2000 women. This is from "Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom," written by Christiane Northrup MD - not some hippy-dippy unproven Internet source either!

Heck, it can't hurt and may help!!

^ This worked for me. I did the light thing and went to full fat dairy and got my cycles normalized with an ovulation around day 13-14.

oh no its a full moon?? Ugh see that B6 messed me up....I should be O'ing in a new moon. Does it have to be a regular light? Dont think DH would go for that LOL. Could I use my rock salt lamp?

I don't think it will mess you up in any way and it shouldn't matter when you ovulate, just that if you sleep with the light on for three days around ovulation (whenever that may be for you), IF your cycles are long or irregular, it may help to alter your pattern to a 28 day cycle.

Don't worry about when you're ovulating. IF the moon has anything to do with gender swaying, it's probably by slight, natural, fluctuations in fertility that are easily overcome with other methods. (As in, who cares what the moon is doing to you when you can completely dry up your CM by using antihistamines, KWIM??)

You can try your rock salt lamp and see if it works. Just use any light you have and leave it on all night long for three days at O time. See if it helps to reset your cycle at 28 days. If not, no great loss, you can still sway anyway, but it sure seems worth a try.
