Although starting the ttc thread has not brought me luck so far, I can't help but think it will. I had to skip July (and several other months this past year) and I'm so ready for august and my next cycle..... So here we go AGAIN...join me ;)

My attempt #2 will be in August! :) Thanks for starting the thread, H&D!!
Wishing everybody lots of luck!!
If we get pregnant in August, we'll have May babies!! :) May babies are the sweetest...I know because I was one!! LOL!! ;) (Totally kidding) But seriously, we'll miss the worst of the summer if we get pregnant now!!

Not me :-\ im in the Southern hemisphere. Not too hot in summer where Im from though and I shouldn't be too big yet.

Ahhh...you're very lucky! Here its pretty dang hot. One of my boys was born at the end of August...I remember sitting in the kiddie pool in the backyard, eating popsicles with my oldest while waiting for him to be born. I looked like a whale, but I didn't care. LOL.

Good luck ladies!!
I can verify that this summer has been cruel on my huge belly and me...I am always hot hot hot! I think May is beautiful month too to have a birthday! Mine and my DS2 share April, and it's nice too. Love spring.

Hi ladies hope you don't mind me joining you. This is a little info about me. I have 3 boys and I'm ttc girl I'm on cd6 so getting ready for 2nd try. I've been doing diet 90% supps mag, cal, etc. my main question is; with all my boys we dtd every other day from af to af is that fr? What shall I do this time? My dh is 45 so I don't think he will be willing to do fr and I'm not sure if absence will be good either please advise if you have any ideas !!! Ph currently 5-6 using replens or refresh. Ps I hope I'm in right place
I hope you mind me joining in

Abstinence is definitely not the way to go for a 45 yr old man. I would do FR for as much as he's capable. My DH is 40 and that's pretty much our plan. Too much will just result in no pregnancy and I know this from our experience last month.
The trick with trying for a girl is reducing fertility, but not reducing it so much that you don't get pregnant at all.
Atomic recommends Rephresh over Replens...Rephresh is used every 3 days after AF...it last longer and lowers the ph of everything it comes in contact with.
Hope this helps.
Welcome to the group.

Hi Everyone! Hope you don't mind me jumping in :) I've got 2 amazing boys and I'm swaying for a girl, my first attempt is coming up! I'm on CD 2, I suspect that I'll O on Aug. 10th...the very same day that I leave for a weekend away without my DH. Terrible timing! All I can do is DTD on the 9th or as soon as I get back on the evening of the 11th. If I wait till I'm home again, I'm worried I'll miss the egg. I was hoping for O+12 but I don't want to miss the month by being picky. What would you guys do in my shoes? I've been experimenting with Rephresh and I find it works well for me but makes it tough to monitor the CM because it causes a curdled milk CM. (tmi) YUCK! This swaying stuff is exciting but nerve-wracking! I've been researching for months! Good luck to you all, pink dust for everyone!

I can't believe August is almost here! We're not doing FR -- dh is over 40 and we just haven't had much luck with it. Our schedule right now looks like we won't have a chance for an attempt this month at all, but we'll see. I'm going to be more strict about the diet this month, and just keep my fingers crossed that we have the opportunity and that our timing is right.
FX for all of us!
BeadinMom
July 29th, 2012, 03:19 PM
I'd do exactly what you're planning to do! I would NOT do O+12. I bought it hook, line and sinker when I was on IG, but after reading attempt after attempt of failed sways or failure to get pregnant at all and hearing Atomic mention it is a TOTAL waste of time, I am totally against it myself. BDing a day or two before O is the best time to get pregnant anyway and as long as you're doing everything else, it should be a great sway.
Good luck and welcome!! :)
BeadinMom
July 29th, 2012, 03:22 PM
Shell,
We had the HARDEST (no pun intended...LOL!!) time ever with the FR, so we're just going to do what we can and hope that everything else works in our favor.
Good luck, my girl! Hope this month belongs to all of us! Xx

Love your new ticker!! I REALLY want a sun tattoo, but I don't think my DH will ever agree. lol.
Shellbelle
July 29th, 2012, 03:33 PM
LOL, just changed it back to the baby. I'm not sure how the sun got there, but it was cute.
I have thought about a tattoo off and on for years, but DH has one and he regrets it. So every time I bring it up, he just gives me a look. LOL I think I'd like a little bird.
BeadinMom
July 29th, 2012, 03:36 PM
I REALLY wanted 3 intertwining suns with my boys names and birthdates around the circles of the suns. I settled for a mom's necklace with 3 disks with each of their names and birthdays around the circles. lol. I do love my necklace. And with my ADD, it's probably best that I can take it off. lol.
Shellbelle
July 29th, 2012, 03:37 PM
Maybe this is TMI, but I have had the worst AF on record. You know those giant overnight pads -- the ones that look like the ones they give you at the hospital after you have a baby? Night before last, I bled through those. Twice. Everything was soaked. It really freaked me out. It's much lighter today, but yesterday and the night before last were really, really awful. Maybe from supps?
Shellbelle
July 29th, 2012, 03:38 PM
Oh, I love that idea! When your baby girl is born, it will be easier to add to the necklace than to a tattoo. :)
I just made a mom's necklace but I haven't worn it yet. We have so many names that I figured I needed to learn how to stamp them myself, LOL.
BeadinMom
July 29th, 2012, 03:39 PM
Wow. That sucks. :( I'm so sorry. Maybe it is the supps. I know Atomic has said sometimes vitex will make AF worse. For me it made it much lighter though. You stopped the Aspirin, right?
Shellbelle
July 29th, 2012, 03:40 PM
I was only taking aspirin every three days, but I'm cutting that out slowly. Too scary.
BeadinMom
July 29th, 2012, 03:40 PM

Just had a bad weekend diet wise, always find it hard on the weekend. I think we have too many friends, too much socializing is not good on the LE diet. Im trying not to stress because my weight is quite low (BMI about 19) and I still have almost 3 weeks until my attempt as long as I don't put any on I should be fine, ill try to be really good in the last 2 weeks.
Welcome acheloisnomad, there is heaps of great info on this site. Atomics idea behind the LE diet is to lower the nutrients in your body before TTC to make it think times are tough so I would drop the prenatal. You only really need the folic acid and the iron if you are anemic. About the pH Atomic has a really good article on this Ill see if I can find it. The pH in your body can change heaps throughout your cycle so testing can be misleading, and if you douche with lime you can also cause a spike in your pH to counteract that. Instead of touching try Represh.
I hope this helps, I'll try and find the pH link

Hi all!!!
I'm on cd9, this is my soy month and I'm really hoping it does the trick!
Started attempts yeturday, which I hope is not to early. We are going for daily attempts leading up to and through ovulation. But dh can only manage about 5 days in a row so fx ovulation happens soon.
Am thinking the soy might make me ovulate earlier so we started dtd on cd8.
Best of luck to all here!!

Hi, another noob here! This will be my first attempt at swaying pink too. I'm taking soy cd2-6 and aspirin, folic acid and magnesium. I figured I'd get plenty of calcium from my diet as love dairy, altho trying to stick to low fat. We're going to try dtd every 3 days from af to pos opk and keep fingers crossed! Good luck everyone x

Lassie, crossing fingers for you!! XX
We'll be making our 2nd attempt next week. The same day we leave for the beach is the day I anticipate ovulating. LOL. We're going to have to be creative with our BDing, since we'll be in a 2 bedroom condo with my boys and Mother in Law. I'm sure the youngest will be begging to sleep in our bed. PLUS, my diet will suck...but at least it's only for a week.
Welcome to all the new ladies! :)

So now I am on this board!! It seems as if AF just showed  I thought for sure all the signs I was seeing was going to turn into a BFP, but sadly no! So I am going to start up supplements again! I was taking Vitex, SP, low aspirin, but this time I will only stay on Vitex and SP for maybe 5-7 days then stop so I can get a pos OPK. Last month it took forever! I do not think I will J&D. I don't know if I did it right, I literally ran out of bed and peed everything out, no kegel, etc. (read AS post and I think I flushed everything out).

Cd7 here, and my last day of soy for this cycle. I think I might have a cyst because my temps are still crazy high for me. I even took a hpt last night, even though I had such a heavy flow this month, because my temps should be back to around 97.2 now, but they're still at post-o levels. I hope it doesn't keep me from oing this month.
My plan this month:
LE diet
Baby aspirin 2x a week
Soy isoflavones cd 3-7 (180 mg)
No vitex or sp this month, because I was still testing slightly positive on cd 1 and didn't want to risk it.
Exercise 60 mins a day (prescribed by dr, so I need to keep it up)
We'll do as many attempts as we have opportunity for, because dh is scheduled to work all this month. It's a 4 hour drive, so even if he's not staying on site we may not have an opportunity. But we're working on it!
Lassie1982

Shell is this your first soy month?
Hope, I feel your pain, when ttc drags on and on its so frustrating. I never ever imagined that 7 months after starting we'd still be ttc.
Hopefully August is our month!
Maybe the olympic spirit will make those little spermies swim that little bit faster and try harder LOL. And as the official theme color is PINK maybe it's the pink ones that will take out gold!!
I wish my temp would flipping rise already. 5th attempt last night (2nd positive opk) and it was so hard chore like last night ergh. DH said he can probably manage one more (bless him, he does try) so if todays opk is positive then we will do another attempt tonight but I think that's us done and dusted for the month.
Good luck everyone!!

For the false surges, it was with a cb digital opk, following the directions. :) I actually had to buy 3 last month because of it. If you're asking about the vitex/sp thing, I was still getting slight positive hpts. Chemical pregnancy last month.
BeadinMom
August 2nd, 2012, 03:51 PM
Ohhh...I am so sorry, my girl. That sucks. Are you sure it was a chemical? I wouldn't think vitex or SP could cause false positive HPTs. I had bleeding with all 3 of my pregnancies. Is it possible you could actually still be pregnant?
Shellbelle
August 2nd, 2012, 03:54 PM
I wasn't taking vitex or sp. I had planned to start this month, but with a pos hpt and bleeding I didn't want to risk it. Im no longer getting a line and had such a horrible, extremely heavy and long period there wasn't much chance that anything survived. I tested yesterday just in case, because my temps are still above last months coverline, but it was a definite negative.
I always have bleeding, too, but this was really awful. Worse than my sch with my last son where I woke up in a blood soaked bed.

By false surges do you mean multiple opks several days in a row? I had those with Vitex! And I know other ladies that do too. When you get that surge, hop off your Vitex/Soy to ensure you will O and not put it off. I had an almost surge and something told me to quit and I finally Oed 5 days later!

No, I mean a positive digital on cd 9 or so. Had to buy another testing stick and got negs till something like cd 12. Then after several more days with no temp shift got another test stick and had negs until cd 15 (I think). Called clear blue and they said that my body probably tried to o but didn't. Also, the way their dig opks work, you really do have to buy a new test device every month. You can get several positive days in a row, but only if your levels are rising. It stores data after every use, and will not show a 2nd positive unless your levels have risen more.

2nd soy month. Last month I had several false surges before I o'd n cd 16.
really? maybe that explains why i am getting positive op.'s and no temp rise yet?
But my CP and fluids would also indicate imminent ovulation.
Vitex gave me tons of false positive's, didn't know that soy could do that too :(

Hi girls..can I please join in? I'll give you some info about myself...I'm 35 and ttc girl this month, actually we have already tried in July with only one shot 4days before o, but ovulation came later which made it a 6day cut off! So it would be a miracle if I would be pregnant this month. I'm in the 2WW now and can't wait till they end and I get AF so we can start ttc again this month. Now we're planning a 2 or 3 day cutoff...not sure yet and probably a 0+12. I'm still confused about the timing, although I read in many chats that timing is not important as long as there is either fr or long abstinance. So was thinking that we could abstain for about 10days for the 2/3 days cutoff and then have DH release each day up to ovulation and dtd again 12hrs after ovulation. I am also changing a bit my diet starting as from today. I have been on the IG diet till now but started lowering milk and yoghurt intake as from yesterday. I am also adding more veggies cause I was not having any except leeks, occasional spinach and occasional green beens. Now I decided to add some cauliflowers, broccoli and mushrooms to my diet. I am also considering stopping my calcium and magnesium supps and probably will get saw palmetto, fiber and liqourice root for dh instead. I am also not sure whether to use lime douche or not after dtd, we used it last time cause my ph was higher but was wondering if we killed all the spermies. Perhaps next time we will try Replens if ph goes up, but probably it will as I noticed that it goes up every time we dtd. This journey is not easy at all but really really would like to ttc a girl, this is my last baby for sure, can't afford more than two (already got a boy), and I have to make sure that I did my best to ttc girl, and if it is still another boy...at least I would have tried. And seeing you all girls getting through all this stuff, at least you give me some courage! :flowerz: I really really hope we are all lucky and get pregnant fast and have our little pink bundles soon! I keep on imagining how it would feel to hear the doctor say....It's a Girl!! I get tears in my eyes every time I think of it!!

Uh-oh! Help! I used a full applicator of Rephresh yesterday night and now my Ph is at a 7!!! Any ideas?
BeadinMom
August 3rd, 2012, 03:26 PM
Jadis, that's very strange. Are you sure you tested your CM?
Honestly, I use the Rephresh and forget about it. I've decided that testing ph will only raise my testosterone levels by stressing me out - which is worse than having a high ph.
Lassie1982
August 3rd, 2012, 05:57 PM
ergh - okp was positive again yesterday!
We were going to DTD, Dh said he's be ok to go one more.
But it didn't end up happening because we had a massive massive MASSIVE blue (about something else entirely)
Doubt we will dtd today either, so thats probably my attempts done...
Goodness knows when ovulation will actually be, so no idea wether the attempts we have had will be close enough....

Positive OPK AGAIN!!!!!
Thats 4 days in a row! I thought Soy was going to make things easier - not trickier!
Todays is the strongest by far - its ridiculously strong...so maybe this is it.
DH and i have kissed and made up and he's actually looking forward to another BD. I guess a day off recharged his batteries - and probably swaying blue - but at this point i don't care LOL

I don't think so. I will test to be sure. I did have very light bleeding with ds2. But I feel like this is too heavy for that.

Keep us posted! Thinking of you!
If this isn't it, we'll just meet up in the Aug 2ww :) Looks like we have a pretty good crew meeting up over there!!
My DH has been at work since yesterday and I am waiting for him to come home so we can get to it!! lol. Based on the last 3 months, I'm guessing I'll have a positive opk tomorrow around 6pm. It's probably working against me that my body is so clockwork, but at least I know when everything is going to happen.

Hi hope :)
So far so good. Only 2dpo today so still a way to go.
I've resolved myself not to test till af is overdue (so 13 days to go!)
Because this ttc journey has stretched out so long I just don't think that I could handle a chemical/ early miscarriage - I just don't have the emotional strength or it!
I think my poas addiction is well and trully cured LOL the bfn's are just too painful :(

Just wanted to say Hi! I've been lurking for aaages! And planning my sway for a good 6 months or so. I'm currently on CD9 and due to OV approx CD18/19.
I've been doing the LE diet for about 10weeks or so as we were going to have a July attempt but changed my mind as we were out so much for different social occassions - too much cheating and I'm struggling to stop snacking! I'm hoping the 10lbs+ weight loss, no meat and LOW salt and nutritional food will help give my sway a chance! Could do with a kick up the bum! :nono:
I'm also getting OH to FR for 10+ days, planning on DTD ov-2(pm) and ov-1(am) using rephresh ov-3 and all the crazy ion stuff too! lol!
I'll be testing around 23/24th, anyone else? x

Anybody have an email address for Clearblue easy? I tried finding it on the website, but they only have the phone number. I just tried to use my digital OPKs and it gave me an error reading. It was a brand new stick! And I know there wasn't urine on or in the test, because I use a cup and dip the stick into it.
UGH. I am so annoyed...those things are NOT CHEAP!!
And another thing...just in case somebody reads this & is considering it...those test readers are only good with the sticks they come with. I noticed someone on ebay selling the readers for $5 each. They're useless without the sticks they came with.
LOL...I'm totally on a roll tonight. LOL. Sorry ladies...hormones.
ETA: Ummm...yes, nevermind. LOL. It took 8 minutes for the error message to go off and then I was able to use the same stick. Still don't know why it happened, but as long as I didn't waste my sticks, I'm okay. lol.

I'm assuming you mean how am I tracking O? I'll be taking clomid and going for a follicle check/injection to force O so I don't bother tracking. My cycle is 28 days typically so I know when AF should start. Been at this so long doesn't feel like I'm even swaying anymore!

Question?? I have had three days of cramping and back pain, and one day of small ewcm...I am due to ovulate now as well but my opks which I started last Tuesday twice daily are all negative. Do you think I missed the surge? I've heard ovulation cramps are a great sign that you ovulated so I would be shocked if I didn't ovulate this month. Has this happened to any of you guys?

Hey, are most of you guys going for frequent bd up to positive OPK or through Ovulation? Or a once off with cut off? Dh and I are 35 and doing FR but am not sure about actual timing. Have been ttc for the last 4 months with o+12 with no success! Thanks a lot!

Hi heidih, we are doing frequent bd as I am 38 and my DH is 42. I did want to do 3 day cut off but my DH is away this month around O so it will be a 5 day cut off. Very slim chance of falling pregnant I know. Interesting you say you have had no luck with the 0+12. I have heard a few success' on it lately but a lot that say it didn't work also.

Hi LO123, thanks.... I was thinking about a once off with cut off of 2 or 1.5 days, but after 4 months of no success I really want to fall pregnant...the diet and the constant worry mid month or whether timing is right or not is pretty draining! So maybe I will just bd through ovulation...gosh I don't know! It's seems timing might not be the most nb part, but still you want to have a good feeling that you gave it your best shot! Best of luck to you!

Hi, I avoided frequent bd as that is how we got our boys lol! We opted for FR for dh, and then bd twice on the day of +opk. Worked for us as we have a BFP, too early to say if the sway worked but tbh I'm relieved to be pregnant after 6 months of ttc using cut offs. Best of luck! x

So I've got a cold  feel miserable but its supposed to sway pink isn't it?
Im on CD10 and got a temp drop this morning, I usually ovulate the day after my drop so probably tomorrow. That is a little early, usually CD13, although it was CD12 last month. Maybe the vitex is making my cycles shorter. Im not doing OPKs I think they would stress me out. We were planning to do abstain and one attempt so do you think we should do it tonight? That would be 6 days abstain. A friend did a lunar return calendar for me and it says tonight would be girl (not that I really believe in these). Oh and I have EWCM even though I took zyrtec.
So my question is tonight or tomorrow? I just want to get pregnant if I leave it until tomorrow it might be too late?

Your chart looks promising though BeadinMom. The tww is torture isn't it. We did make an attempt last night but now im not sure if I've already ovulated or not my temp was back up today but it might be all mucked up because of my cold. I think I need to pick my battles too. DH is not too keen on all of this and the more I pressure him he might just say forget the whole thing.

Lo- I wouldn't waste a month bc of one missed release. If u want an option is having him release in am then dtd later in the same day. Or just go on if it's gonna push him to far! Have to find the balance. He needs to be on board after all!

Hi All-
On cd1 today. I am getting back on the LE diet and starting to sway again after taking the summer off (well, summer of the LE diet, but we did a few attempts each cycle).
I am letting go of a lot. In fact, I am starting to believe that the only thing that truly sways in any way is the diet. The diet is what puts your body in a condition to be more likely to conceive one gender over another. The diet is what changes your hormones, and your ph, your nutritional level, weight loss, cm etc. etc.
I feel like the only thing that rephresh does is change your ph in your vg and kill sperm. But the ones that don't die end up in your uterus etc. where the ph is what it is...its not affected by the rephresh. The same with j&d, and lowering dh's sperm count -- it just makes it harder to get pg, but does not change the ratio of xx to xy. I think rather than making multiple attempts b/c of lowering sperm count and j&d -- I am going to make only one attempt at +opk making sure that dh's sperm count is as healthy can be by having him release every 2-3 days prior to our attempt.
I'm giving it all up and just sticking with the diet hard hard hard core (minus my birthday weekend coming up where I know I will cheat for 2 days). I am even going to do a mini fast my most fertile days drinking only crystal light and eating only 500 calories for those days.
I really think if anything is going to help me have a dd its my maternal condition and nothing else.
Besides, I wanna be pg yesterday! And I think the rephresh and lowering dh's sperm count has been what has prevented me from conceiving. HopeandDream you know where I am coming from -- It's Time!!

Ahhhhh! Hi babe!! You know I know where you are coming from!! I've dropped everything too except diet (I'm starving ;), but liking it!! iykwim) frequent, rephresh etc. I agree with everylast word you said. I am taking clomid this cycle but also going to take estrace (which I haven't bc it can sway blue, but AS and I feel strongly I am not going to be able to conceive without it.) Its just time to pull the trigger..... Im here with you CD 7 for me today! Hoping the estrace turns the dial up just enough to get pregnant not sway blue..

Mine is next weekend. We are going to Newport on Thursday. I was not going to start the LE til Monday but then I just thought that every extra day I can be on it will help. And since I am making attempts this month I have to try to be the best I can. I just know I will cheat this weekend. I kinda don't want to though. Its certainly wont be LE. I feel like, make me the dinner once I find out I am pregnant and don't have to feel guilty about eating. I know she will be upset and think everything I am doing is silly and one meal doesnt matter. And it doesn't -- but after my cheats this weekend it does. My dh's 2 friends and wives are coming to Newport Fri and Sat night -- which means lavish dinners out and drinking.
Thank god when I come home a have a solid week to starve myself before o-ing.

DH made it home last night. Until thursday morning!!!
I've been using my OPK in everyday in the AM and PM. Tonight's is not exactly as dark, but it is significantly darker than any I've had up to now.
What do you think?

Hi Ladies, thanks for the birthday wishes. Had a nice day and enjoyed my dinner. I am lucky my mum knows about all this swaying I am doing and asked what I wanted for dinner. I gave her some recipes and she cooked that for me. It wasn't exactly LE but it still kept to the main principles.
I think my DH is getting fed up already. I keep texting him to check he is doing FR as he is away. Today he text me back that I am desperate. I am sure he meant it as a joke but it did upset me a little and I felt like saying don't you know how much this means to me.... Anyway today is BDing day, so after tonight I will leave him alone...well atleast to next cycle if I don't fall this one.
Callmecrazy, I would take that as positive for sure...

Hey, are most of you guys going for frequent bd up to positive OPK or through Ovulation? Or a once off with cut off? Dh and I are 35 and doing FR but am not sure about actual timing. Have been ttc for the last 4 months with o+12 with no success! Thanks a lot!
O +12 makes it very hard to get preggo, and especially with your age, I would definitely do FR and BD through O if you can. I had a 2 day cut off last cycle but had a BFN. DH is 37, I am 33 but he can't do the daily FR, so he released the day before our attempt and that was it. Still got a BFN, but must have been the other things that reduced sperm count. It's so frustrating getting those BFNs, but hope it's worth it!

I agree with genie!
heidih1977 -- o+12 is tricky and can be next to impossible to catch. Infact most women who think they hit o+12, really just dtd on o day. Many women cannot pinpoint exact timing of ovulation -- only the day when we are lucky. And after 12 hours, most eggs are already starting to break down and will no longer be fertilized.
If you really want a cut off, then I would dtd frequently (daily) making your last attempt on +opk night.
If you can let go of timing -- because it does not sway -- then I would either dtd daily thru o -- or -- dtd +opk night and the 2 following nights. Chances are that is really only 2 attempts b/c by the 3rd night you would most likely have ovulated already and the egg would be fertilized.
If you want a 1 time only attempt -- then best bet is to dtd on +opk day or the day after. You want the sperm there waiting for the egg -- its your best shot at pg.
If you are doing the diet very strict and have been for at least 6 weeks -- then definitely do multiple attempts. The diet is doing your sway for you anyway -- all the dtd stuff may amount to like 1% of your sway really.

I am so glad you posted this! I noticed the same weird curdled milk type CM after using Rephresh. I thought I was just having some sort of weird reaction to it. It makes me feel better knowing that someone else has had that experience as well.
I hope you all don't mind me jumping in on this thread this late in the month. I am still waiting to O at this point hopefully it will be in the next few days. I'm excited at the prospect of getting PG again but also nervous about everything being okay and then of course wondering if the things I've been doing to sway pink will work at all. Anyone else still waiting to O?

:cheer: great news about the healthy follies :cheer:
I'm really hoping for you girl - and i think thats it great that you have a really positive vibe about this month, i think its great to have that mindset because positivity and hope certainly create a much healthier balance in your emotions, hormones, and everything - which is just what your body needs to conceive and make a little (hopefully pink!) bean stick
This is gonna be it for you - it just HAS to be :flowerz:

Hi Ladies, can I get some help. This is the first month I have tried to track my temperature properly on Fertilely Friend. I have tried to do it in previous month but have always found it hard to take as I get up at different times of the morning. I usually use OPKs and found them to be consistent month to month telling when O is. This month used digital Clearblue tests and got my first smiley on CD15 at 9.30pm. This is consistent to previous months. However with charting my temp this month on FF it says I ovulated CD14. Now I am confused when O was? Which would you follow?

Gutted - AF has arrived. Very disappointed!
This new cycle I will be having bloods/scans done regularly to monitor cycle, and then it will be a Clomid cycle if not preg. I hate blood tests with a passion, so am terrified...
Good luck ladies!!!

:/ Have not temped... not using OPKs, have gained loads of weight, etceteraetcetera... I am showing fertile signs now. Part of me is too scared to try because everything is heavily boy... I am probably back to the weight I was when I conceived my son. My husband didn't want me back on the diet... but I'm now hesitating to try this month. I want to get out of the 120s again... this whole month after the last cycle has been a fail. Around ovulation last cycle I got down to 114... but I think my ovulation happened later than my chart said (I went on holiday and stopped temping... I think it happened then, ugh!)
Now I'm 122 or thereabouts.... just, ugh. I don't know what to do... there's practically zero sway factors and all likely quite boy friendly.
Took soy this month, taking antihistimine, folic acid.... eating with an odd breakfast day when I cave in... using soy milk mostly...
Husband said he'd FR....
We're both already vegetarian.
But, eh.... I'm just struggling and I think time is ticking so I need to make a decision. I SO want to get pregnant. I wanted to be pregnant MONTHS ago... but I still hesitate because I still want a shot at a girl, even if I'd be happy with a boy. :( It's not worth stressing over.... I've put all this in my head. If I had never heard about it, we'd have just tried for a baby without all this fuss... so partly, I feel annoyed with myself that I ever typed into google "how to conceive a girl"... but it's all in my head now.
So conflicted right now.

Suregena- hi. Been thinking of you. It's so hard to make the decision. You don't want to waste a month but you don't want to kick yourself later too. It's so true how it all gets in your head! It's hard to think differently after but we all know plenty of woman who think swaying means rocking back and forth and they have had girls!

Suregena- I say starve yourself through ovulation and dtd anyway. Why waste a month -- you could do everything right and still have a boy. Or you could do only 1 thing right and have a girl. So much is way out of our control anyway.
If you feel nervous then just dtd once with a bit of a cut off.

just checking in on everyone, havent been about much the last couple months, been pretty busy...:)
good luck to everyone,, and DONT STRESS!!!!
I know its hard not to stress.....but like pfp said, nothing is guaranteed anyway...
my baby girl was a fluke...lol..nothing but a 5 day cut off used.
i have seen sooooo many ladies getting their desired gender this year, and quite a few were woopsies or during a sway break.
and i know of 2 ladies who have done EVERYTHING girl swaying recommends and both got boys!
i think doing too much is just the same as doing nothing....
Sasha is 3 months old today!
where the hell did that time go?
shes growing way too fast, and is already starting to wear 6 months clothes.
the boys all love her to bits, and everything has just been super cruisy...
anyway pink sticky dust to everyone, and hopefully the change in seasons will help with some bfps...:)
