IDK Shell...I am almost tempted to just say forget the soy! Especially since it is screwing a perfectly good thing up. Well I did read that it could happen if you are already O'ing. I suppose I could give it another month (if needed) to see what happens. Maybe it just takes our bodies time to get used to it?

Oh yes, if it doesn't work this month I am done with soy. But maybe you're right. I just hate the unpredictability!

How are you feeling NC? Are you 12dpo now?

I am 13 DPO today! Tomorrow is day of expected AF and I have one more test I have been saving to take tomorrow just to solidify being pregnant in my mind! I am soooo nauseaus, tired, thirsty, and today I am so bloated I feel like I am showing! I have no appetite for anything and I feel like my diet is so poor! I'm sure it will get better in time, but right now I am having a hard time with food! I am going to eat some turkey burger tacos tonight and see how adding meat back in goes. I have had none since May! I hope my stomach is up for it!

AFM, still a small amount of brown spotting but another BFN on an IC (10dpo today). Keep thinking AF is here as getting cramps but nothing there when I get to the loo. Really don't know what to think as have never had this before when pregnant or not.........

Good luck to all those who joined the TWW and congrats to those who have new BFP! I am a totally new member to the site...nothing like coming straight to a TWW board :curtsey:

But I am 4DPO today...after an IG attempt that probably will result in our third-of-the-same. But I am cool with it. I would love to catch that egg anyway! I am having some cramping, which has been a steady thing for the past couple of months because my body is still regulating while I am nursing. So I don't know if I am even fertile enough for anything to happen. But I know I ovulated and we DTD...so anything is possible. But with this cramping, mild as it is, I am thinking it is not gonna happen this month. It is too early for any of it to be implantation. My mood sucks, but I think that is more related to my bebe teething and being up 27 times at night. Lol. So I don't think I have anything good to go off of :D

I'm 11dpo now, I got my cheapie tests through two days ago and tested (but it was in the afternoon) and got a BFN unsurprisingly. I meant to test again this morning but was up early to take a friend to the airport and completely forgot! So I'm going to wait for tomorrow to test.

I have so many pregnancy symptoms, I have had cramping pretty much constantly from around 7dpo, have been feeling really dizzy so I had to increase my calorie intake to be able to function, I have also been getting shooting pains if I sneeze which is something I got with both my other pregnancies during the early stages. So either my mind and body are playing major tricks on me (which is totally possible!) or I'm pregnant.

The other weird thing is I was putting my two little boys to bed and my eldest said 'Mummy you have a baby in your tummy, I'm going to have a baby brother'. I was a bit taken aback as obviously we haven't told them we are trying for another, so would be very spooky if I am pregnant! Better still if he is 50% right and I'm pregnant but with a girl! ;o)

Really hoping I get a BFP tomorrow! Fingers crossed for everyone else! xx

I've been scouring through the chart gallery on FF (again!)
and my chart has me down :(
The vast majority of the pregnancy charts have temps that are significantly above the cover line, and they seem to rise early on, whereas mine has risen after ovulation, the gradually gone down the last 2 days - obviously I'm still above cover line, but only just.
So disheartening - i know I'm being silly - but can't help it - the longer this is taking the further out of my grasp i feel it is :(

Well I just took an internet cheapie and I might be going crazy but I could maybe, possibly, almost see a teeny shadow of something. I cant get my phone to focus enough to take a decent picture but when I compared it to yesterdays test I really thought I saw a difference. Is that even possible at 7 dpo? Beachy, didnt you see a faint line at 8 dpo??

Also, and this is really freaking me out, I had a dream that I was pregnant with twins, one boy one girl. It was clear as day and very vivid. I told DH about it and he said that he just remembered that his grandmother went to a psychic a few years ago and she predicted that his brother would have 2 boys (no kids yet over there) and that DH would have twins, one boy one girl. Ive heard that your hcg levels can be higher with twins.....so, um, NOT AMUSED over here!! At least the "one girl" part has me somewhat less panicked......on the other hand, the one boy part would make 4 boys over here.....anyone wanna trade??? :holysheep:

Trying not to get excited and will just assume that my eyes are playing tricks on me until I can really see something. I didnt even show it to DH, he would thinks Im nuts to see me holding it to the light and turning it sideways, LOL!!

Winngrinn - I actually got a strange shadow at 7 DPO on a dollar store cheapie and then got the other faint one at 8 DPO so totally possible! I have also been worrying about twins. When I was pregnant with DS, I also had a vanishing twin so I know it could happen!!

And this is my 14 DPO test....is it normal to be this dark? Not that I am complaining at all...it is exactly what I wanted to see..but starting to worry about twins too! LOL!!!!!!

Beachy, I'm really not sure, maybe try to search online for positive pg test results at 14 dpo and compare to other pictures? I know that the hcg levels are supposed to double every 48 hrs (I think???) so I'm thinking there is no such thing as too dark? Is there any evidence that swaying (without Clomid) increases the chances of twins? I have never had any thoughts of twins, ever, until my dream. DH thought twins would be fun with DS3 (first child for him, my 2 older boys are from my first marriage). He quickly realized that mistake, lol! I'm sure twins are fun at some point, after you live through the first year or so of zombie-like exsistence!!! YIKES!!!

With my first two pregnancies I only got a BFP about 3 days after my af was due, even on the day it was a BFN. I know other people who were in a baby group I was part of who got a BFP days earlier though, so it may just be one lo in there don't worry! With ds1 I had a really vivid dream he was a girl and that we called him Emily, of course he turned out to be a boy - but I do now have a little niece called Emily!

I couldn't help do another cheapie this afternoon - really stupid as I had quite a bit to drink (as I have a really sore throat still). But I think I could see a very very faint line ... not sure if my eyes are playing tricks and my phone camera couldn't pick it up but as I wiggled it by the light I could kind of see a faint shadow of where the line should be.

I'll do another one first thing in the morning and if it was a line that should be much clearer .... or do you think if I don't drink anything between now and bedtime (its 1:30pm here at the mo) that my pee may be strong enough to give a line?!! Omg... please may I be pregnant this month otherwise I'm going to go bankrupt buying sticks!! :rofl:

I have a newer phone that takes pretty good pictures...but it is all about the light! On my 8 DPO pic, I had to photo edit it to get the line to show up in pics. When I had faint lines and tried to photo them, the best time was when it was light outside and all the blinds in the house were up. Otherwise, I couldn't get it to show either!

Wow this thread has so many BFPs. Congratulations to all the ladies who got a BFP this month...really happy for all you girls. I hope I will be joining soon. I'm eagerly waiting for my AF to show up so I can ttc this month. It should have shown yesterday but still waiting, but I'm not pregnant, just checked out and Negative. I am not disappointed though as it was just our first time trying and we did a cut off and ovulation came later than expected, so it would have been a miracle if I got pregnant this month, not to mention the douches I made after ttc. I agree Shell! I always know when I am O'ing and this soy has me so confused. Now I will say...I was on Clomid once before and I had tons of eggs. But on Clomid they made me take the HCG shot so that they would all release at once. I am really starting to wonder if the soy made me produce multiple eggs and I am releasing them at different times.

Hi girls - glad to see so many bfp's! I'm at the airport in Berlin waiting to check in and using their wifi to catch up. Our wifi at the apartment we stayed at didn't end up working at all, which is why I've not been around.

1) had a wonderful time in Berlin and ate looooads!

2) used 4 IC One Step tests while here and have never used them before. They were all negative though I thought I saw shadows on the last two but just not sure. Too hard to tell. Had no more tests so just been checking cp and cm for AF. I am 18dpo today and no sign of AF yet? Plenty of CM and cervix feels open but no blood yet. Feels firm. Shrug. I have one digital and not sure if I should use it when I get home or not. AF was due on the 6th. Have been MEGA bloated my trip here in Berlin... looked pregnant, it was bothering me a lot.
I had pains alongside my lower belly yesterday but couldn't pinpoint it to anything.
Headachey and queasy the past two days.
Slightly uncomfortable when my son has nursed and tender breasts.
So who knows. I sure don't. AF should have been here by now. It started last month 17dpo I believe.

^^Um, I see a line. I am a POAS addict and have gotten pretty adept at seeing lines (possibly even ones that are not there). But I see a faint line on that test. It is kinda far spaced away, but I don't know how the internet cheapies read. I have to go with FRER because I will drive myself crazy trying to stare at internet cheapies.

Good luck today beadin!! I made a huge mistake, I thought I ovulated last week due to cramping, well last night had ewcm and cramps so did an Opk and finally got a positive!! Positive again this morning and super crampy!! Can't wait for Dh to hurry and get home! We last bd Sunday night so I think that's too far a cut off so I will bd again today. Fx!!!!! Today falls on a blue critical day in my bio....do you guys believe in that? It's a girl moon phase though lol!:fx:

Have I mentioned that I hate OPKs? Or that maybe they hate me? And before someone says "just use a digital," I had a bad and expensive month with them last month, so it's not even worth it to see the smiley face and then not ovulate. ;)

I generally hate the line ones too...but I was not aware it was possible to detect a true surge (aka: smiley face) and not ovulate. Perhaps I am not brushed up on my ovulation facts, but I thought the LH spike was what caused the body to release the egg and as long as you got a positive and it goes negative, you ovulated. Hmmmmm...I am off to do some reading (I love science, but not when it pisses me off :D)

Oh, but here is to hoping you ovulate soon!! I am guessing that is an ov test, not a preg test?

You can have an LH surge and get a positive opk but no egg is released, not sure how common that is though.


I was using the cheapie opks for a while but thought I was ovulating about cd15 as the line was pretty dark, I was using shettles method then so was stopping bd about 3 or 4 days before I thought I would ovulate. I did that for about 6 months and wasn't getting pregnant, then two months ago I bought a few of the clearblue digital opks, I used one on cd15 when I got a pretty strong line on the cheapie opk and didn't get a smiley face. I used them every day then and finally got my smiley face on cd17. The cheapie opk line was as strong as the test line, which must have been what I needed to show I was actually ovulating (or having my LH surge). No surprise I wasn't getting pregnant before! Now I know what I'm looking for on the cheapies I have just been using them, so I only used about 4 clearblue opks.

I am wondering how common it is now too. And if it generally happens for women with PCOS (that seemed to be where most of the reading I did concentrated) and not often for other women. Makes me wonder if I did ovulate this month. Lol. Although I am thinking I had all the signs and truly did! But they say stress and lifestyle changes, losing weight being one of them, can cause it to happen as well! Learned something new today.

acheloisnomad - good luck!! I don't think there are meant to be any 2ww adjustments - the theory is to stick to the diet in case you are not pregnant. That said i think we all allow ourselves a cheat or 2 during the 2ww. Ive included pineapple into my 2ww this time round - I've heard its a super food to help implantation so i thought id give it a go

LOL! I had creamy CM starting at 2 DPO and it never stopped. It is gross! And now it has turned more watery like that and sometimes boogery! TMI!!!!! YUCK!!!!!! I stopped having CM b/c of the diet and that was seriously the first time I had seen it in like 2 months.

I also have been SO weak in the AM and nauseous and thirsty. OMG the thirst has been horrible at times! I started taking a prescription prenatal vitamin and I am feeling TONS better and not so weak! But hunger hits me and when it does, I NEED to eat. Only thing I really want is guacamole! LOL! I don't check CP so not sure about that! Sorry for all the details! I gave you more than you asked!

I'm so sorry! It looks like your temp is still up too! So strange! Fingers crossed it is just a late BFP!!!!! Maybe you should make an appt to get in to see the doctor.

This looks like much more of a line, not sure how well it shows up in the picture, but on the test now it looks like a thin pale line so looks like you are all right and it is a BFP! :)

I have such bad cramps this morning and feel shattered, I'm on 12dpo so I will wait until Sunday now before I use another cheapie and that should show up clearly then hopefully.

I still don't quite believe it!!!

Well, I find myself in the 2ww by accident as we weren't meant to attempt till Oct or Sept at earliest.

So it's not even really a sway although there have been a significant amount of things which I had changed. Not sure any would have had time to take effect. Lost a ton of weight (9lbs!!) in the 2 weeks from Af to O, gone completely veggie, was following the LE diet as best I could, started to take vitex but stopped when I got horrendous stomach cramps. Was super chilled out as we were on holiday (too hard to do LE diet on holiday but was sticking to veggie low fat options) and I am usually all stressed out!

I usually O around cd20 but for some reason (maybe the very small amount of vitex has altered it and it appears I O'd on cd16. I was using cheapie opks but being on holiday I am now pretty sure the one I used on Monday must have been wrong as it wasn't even nearly positive (mine usually fade in a bit). Was still charting temps but again were not as reliable as usual. I thought we still probably had 4 days and Dh was more than happy to take a wee risk (I did warn him that the opk could be wrong and 4 days is still risky!)!! Then I got a strong positive at teatime on Tues and had O cramps all day and through the night. Just some twinges on weds. My temp is way up today so looks lke I o'd yesterday and we DTd O-2.

Suregena - looking at your chart, maybe you didn't O until CD36 and you are only 10 DPO?

I agree with this, your temp seems really nice and high.

I hope this month proves to be a positive for you - but if not, then maybe the extra weight and the extra food is what your body needs to finally give you a positive. It is odd how long and unusual your cycles are when you sway, so maybe the limitations of the LE diet just don't give your body what it needs to conceive ?

Soooo, this is weird. I am only 6DPO today and obviously any symptom would only be in my head, right???

I stood up to get my toddler a drink this morning and flat out passed out. Thankfully, I felt it coming and started crouching before I passed out. But when I came to my kids were all over me, and my baby was at the other side of the room...so I was down at least 20 seconds. I have not done that in 10 years. And the last time I did was because I was not eating at the time. I had breakfast and had been drinking (water, not alcohol) at night, like always.

So coincidence, right? Lol. I was just shocked by it. I guess I will have a few more days before I can pee on anything. I got my first positive with DS2 at 8DPO. So I will prolly start then or at 9DPO.

Question kraizydaizy...what type of FF chart is that? I notice it has no temps, but symptoms. It would be one I would be interested in keeping. I don't temp cause I don't get more than a couple hours of sleep at a time (stinky baby is not a sleeper!) and it was never appealing to me anyway. But I have other strong signs. Just curious if you could point me in the right direction :)

Ugh.....8 dpo here and a BFN this morning. I know its early still and I'm not totally sure if I am really 8 dpo, its possible (maybe likely) that I'm only 7 dpo. I dont temp because my 9 month old doesnt always sleep great early in the morning andit was stressing me out. Got + opk on cd13 and had our attempt but opk was still + on cd14 so maybe didnt O until cd15 which would make me only 7dpo. I knew I shouldnt have even started testing yet!!! Ive been crampy ever since 2 dpo with lower back ache. I usually dont have that until the day before AF so could that be a good sign???

I'm going to feed into all of the craziness by asking if your cramping was in your uterus, or did it seem like it was near your ovaries Anchor? I started cramping before o and was still crampy last night. I am 3do. Way too soon for anything...

I always get af type cramps just before I ovulate, then this time I had mild cramps from around 6 or 7 dpo that would be worse in the morning. I am 12 dpo and still have them now, they are kind of different from af cramps. Really hard to describe, but they feel like they are coming from my ovaries or womb. I had them for my first two pregnancies too, apparently it is things stretching, growing, and implanting etc.
It is a nightmare symptom spotting during the 2ww, so many things can just be a sign of your af. I was convinced at Christmas that we had done it, my af was due on Christmas Eve but didn't show. I tested on Christmas morning thinking what a lovely surprise for DH and got a BFN and within an hour my af turned up. Typical!

I would say the biggest difference for me this month has been dc, sorry for tmi but I have had quite a lot of thicker stringy dc which I don't normally get at this time of the month.

it is annoying - but its the total truth of it.
Thats the problem with 2ww symptoms - you can be just as likely to have them if your pregnant then if you are not.

I have had every single 2ww symptom at some point during my 2ww's - but no pregnancy. nausea, fatigue, thirst, diareah, cramps, spotting EVERYTHING! Ive had it all, but no bfp. So sadly the truth of the early symptoms is that they really don't make it any more likely that you are pregnant, doesn't mean your not, it just doesn't mean you are. And the reason those sites harp on about the fact that its just as likely to be something, as it is to be nothing, is to try and reduce some of the disappointment when af turns up....

That said it is fun to obsessively google :)

Have I mentioned that I hate OPKs? Or that maybe they hate me? And before someone says "just use a digital," I had a bad and expensive month with them last month, so it's not even worth it to see the smiley face and then not ovulate. ;)

Oh Shellbelle how I do hate both soy AND OPK's, lol. I used almost ALL of my OPK's this month and they were not cheap. I'm almost tempted to buy the digital ones next month despite the cost because of my sheer and utter frustration. It seems like I had more positives than humanly possible this month and all for what...Dang well better get a BFP! If you are using Answer then that looks awfully close but try again tomorrow and I guarantee it will be positive. EWCM?

I tested again this morning with an internet cheapie which was pretty much the same as yesterday so I used a FR too and this is what it looks like:

This looks like much more of a line, not sure how well it shows up in the picture, but on the test now it looks like a thin pale line so looks like you are all right and it is a BFP! :)

I have such bad cramps this morning and feel shattered, I'm on 12dpo so I will wait until Sunday now before I use another cheapie and that should show up clearly then hopefully.

I still don't quite believe it!!!

Hey beadin, I'm going to be a bore and wont be testing anymore. Ive lost the strength to deal with the bfn's. And at this stage I wouldn't be able to deal with a chemical or early miscarriage, so by not testing early I will hopefully reduce the risk of such disappointment.
I'm going to test when AF is 2 day late, which will be Sunday the 19th, and even then only if my temps are still high.
I can officially call myself a recovered poas addict LOL!
Till then I will just watch this thread with baited breath hoping to see lots of you get bfp's!

What about you? When will you start testing?

I'm satisfied it was a positive on the FR but I still don't quite believe it. I have never got a positive this early before, I was always 2 or 3 days late with my first two pregnancies and got negatives up until then. I've got a clearblue test left to use so I'm going to use that on Sunday/ Monday when my af would be about 1/2 days late, and I am really tempted to get a clearblue digital that has the conception indicator lol! ;) I figure as this is going to be our last baby I may as well get all the poas action I can get! :D x

Hi, wishing everyone luck this month, and hoping AF stays away for everyone!!
This month was our first attempt also, we werent going to attempt until at least next cycle, as I havent yet got AF since stopping BF my 10mth old, but I decided we needed to do a "practise run" of our TBM sway and so decided to do the attempt last night, and during the day yesterday my maybe baby ferned and I had a +OPK.... so am thinking we may have done our "practise run" over my first ovulation since BF.... hmmmm Ive had a knot in my stomach all day today hoping I havent timed it badly to favour a boy.... I was always going to try a 2-3day cut off with TBM using rephresh and supps and diet, but now think Ive attempted right over ovulation.... Do you think this will favour a boy, or do you think my other sway factors (diet, supps, rephresh, aci jel, low ph) will still give me a good possibility of a little pink one????!!!! :drama:
I have my fingers, toes and everything else crossed we get BFP with a pink bun in the oven.... Im also trying VERY hard to stay chilled out.... I'm in the 2ww and plan to test on Monday at 10 dpo or Tues. this is my first cycle swaying. I have not stuck to a strict diet , so I guess you can call me a "lazy sawyer," but I had DH do supplements, and did change several things about my diet than before. Anyhow very excited for a BFP. Well I just dropped in to see what was going on! I have been utterly consumed with packing and moving! If I'm not around much it is because of that. I honestly wouldn't even know when to even test because my ovulation was so screwed up! I guess I could start a couple days before AF is due normally :shrug: somehow I feel she will be delayed....And not because of a BFP either.

Yesterday was the first day I didnt have much but its back am little this morning. I typically only have cramping right at O and the day before AF so I took the cramping as a good sign. Yes, I've had trouble with them in the past and figured I had missed the surge this month. I can't dtd again. DH works many hours away and is often housed on-site, where I am not allowed to visit. Luckily this month he is at work every day but not on a rig, so I can drive out there and visit. But we JUST got home and I can't get back in time. The only reason I kept testing was just in case my temps dropped again. Today was the last time I planned to poas until it was time for hpts.

I'm in tears over this.

If you click on the baby line in my signature you can see my chart. Yes, we dtd on the day before the temp dip (tons of cm) and the day of the temp dip (drier).

If I'm reading your chart right you bd on cd 13 and 14 so try not to worry too much. Those little swimmers can hang around a fair bit and if you are ovulating now then it will still only be 2-3 days since you last bd.

I really think that dip was your ovulation. Infact, your chart looks a lot like mine right now.
Are you using the opks with lines? Or digitals? The ones with lines ALWAYS confuse me...I can't use them.

Thanks for looking, Beadin. I think that dip was ovulation, too, but my result lines have been very light on the opks, except for that "half and half" one I posted on Wednesday. Today it was a clear positive. I can't justify using the digitals anymore after last month. They were showing a surge with no ovulation and I didn't get a positive happy face close to ovulation then either.

Maybe they really do hate me. Lol.

I just tested cant resist any longer and it was negative :( im hoping it was just because im only 7dpo and its abit too early to show up slightly disapointed but praying i might get a bfp in a couple days i have 4 more tests in the cupboard so will be testing each morn next week..
