I'm catholic and attend church every Sunday.. With the new baby coming I'm wondering how it will work out with a new born and little to no routine.
What are the churches views on breastfeeding while in mass?

Additional information - Since I live in a foreign country dh and I attend an English speaking one 35mins drive away - 1 hours mass and 35 mins back.

There is nothing wrong with it! Do whatever you feel most comfortable with. I've used nursing covers to nurse my boys during mass. The Catholic church is very much, pro-breastfeeding. You may not know that Le Leche League was started by Catholic housewives. I also found this link interesting:

Thank you for the advice and the link - I have an uddercover plus we will either sit upstairs or quietly at the back.

I would say there is nothing wrong with it if you are comfortable! And I would think that all of the church members would prefer a quiet, content baby over a crying, hungry one!
