Hi! I am new here. I was researching a lot on IG and just found this site. I am 22, DH is 25 and we have a 14 month old DS. Hoping for a DD but we will be happy as long as baby is healthy :) Going to start trying in October.

My sway plan so far::ttcgirl:

- Started a diet last week - low sodium, low potassium, high cal and mag (mostly IG diet, obv). No caffeine, potatoes, red meat, bananas etc.
- Supplements - I take cran, calc & mag, folic acid, vit e, zinc, vit b6, zinc. DH takes cran, calc &mag, licorice root.
- I currently use OPKS, BBT charting and have a pH tester on the way.
- We plan to use 7-10 days abstain, then BD once in fertile window.
I was really stressed over timing and pinpointing my exact o but now I feel more confident that timing isn't that important!!!!
- I already notice a decrease in cm just taking supplements, so I will most likely just use rephresh, I don't want it to be overkill with douching and sudafed ect. But I guess I will have a better idea once I know our pHs!

If anyone has any suggestions/advice/tips to help me better my plan it'd be MUCH appreciated :) Still trying to make sense of everything :)

Very nice IG-style sway!! Please be sure you're getting the recommended 700-1000 mg sodium and 2500-3500 mg potassium for your health. Don't drop below those levels. I personally would not have you take some of those supps but they are included in the IG sway.

The level of zinc listed on IG is not safe, so if you're taking any more than 8-15 mg of zinc for you, please stop and drop down to the lower level.

Be sure that YOU don't take Sudafed. It's not safe for you to take. You can give the Sudafed to your husband and you take antihistamine instead.

Hi Atomic! Thanks for looking it over, ya I did a lot more research here and I took out all supplements except cran, cal&mag & folate, which I am a lot happier about not having to take so many in the morning lol. DH still taking his and I'd say now our diet is getting more LE friendly as I have been tracking everything we eat on "myfitnesspal" and our potassium level for the last couple days was just over 1400mg? WAY below the minimum, so I am going to add more!

QUESTION: What sways pink the hardest - (A) FR BD through o, (B) abstain with 1 BD attempt, OR (C) the abstain till 2 days before o, BD once then have him FR until another attempt at 0+12?????
Thanks!!!

Yes, def. get more potassium!!!! 2500-3500 mg!

Your husband doesn't need to do the full LE Diet - if he were to cut out meat, eggs, fish, cut back on fat a bit, and possibly eat more soy that will only help.

We don't know what sways the hardest. We just don't have enough data to say for sure. I suspect that they're all ok options and we have had success doing all of them. I honestly don't think frequency sways that much, i think your (DW) diet and maternal condition sway way, way, way more strongly than any frequency pattern ever could.

I wouldn't bother with option C simply because it's next to impossible to get pg from O+12 and if you conceive, the odds are very high that it was from the earlier BD and not the O+12.

Love your avatar! What a cutie!!

Great! I think DH is doing the diet just to support really lol I will add some more variation in for him. I was incredibly ecstatic to add my morning coffee back into my diet.
So if frequency/abstain seem to sway equally we will decide closer to the attempt how we feel about it, may go with frequent to increase odds of pregnancy as I'm not a fan of dieting! I appreciate your answers! And thank you, yours too! Yes, he's our little prince :)
