I heard Clomid has like a 10 % chance of twin birth and a 1 % chance of higher multiple birth.

I heard Soy isoflavones were like a natural clomid that could cause twin pregnancies

Wondered if there was anything else anyone knew of except the obvious having them run in the family ?

Im only curious - not for me but we have a friend who is in her late 30's and desperate for a family wsith 2-3 children but obviously her time for making babies is a little shorter due to her age and so she thinks twins would solve some of her worries so i said id help her research ways to sway so that she doesnt go online and buy illegal clomid !!! ( which she has thought of !!! )

Tell your friend that people in their late 30's shouldn't take Clomid without having their FSH levels checked anyway because Clomid can cause FSH to rise and lead to poor egg quality.

Twins is no picnic. Sure they're cute but a twin or higher multiple pregnancy brings higher risks for the babies and for the mother. Twin pregnancy was a very stressful experience.

Good point mama and even when both twins don't survive, you are more likely to have a high risk pregnancy. :agree:
