Hello ladies Im over from the TTC a girl board to get some ideas on meals. Im a typical boy mum and have 3 gorgeous little men but DH would really like our final one to be his much wanted DD and so we are going to attempt to sway. I am doing the LE diet but wondered if you ladies would share with me some idea of your usual daily eating habits or favourite meals so i can see if i can come up with some new ideas for what im eating just in case im on it for a few more months.
Thanks ladies.

I have two girls and I would say I ate alot of carbs and dairy, and drank alot of coke. If I decided to eat breakfast in the morning somtimes I would have a sugary cereal or pancakes/waffles. No snack after breakfast, lunch was usually ones of those lean cusine meals that you get in the frozen food section, no sack after that and if I did it was probably junk food, and dinner ranged from sometimes meat to pasta, really whatever I wanted. I never had 3 complete meals a day though. Sometimes I would only have 1 meal if I was too busy.

I have 2DD and with both of them I was dieting. DD1 was conceived 1 month after my wedding so I was my skinniest actually too skinny for my height, never ate breakfast. DD2 I was on a starvation diet because I had to fit into a dress for an event, I would eat a fruit and coffee for breakfast or just coffee and then a meal for lunch, meat/salad/sandwich/omelet and for dinner it would be yogurt and nuts but dinner was at 4pm, no snacks in between and only water after 4. Oh I forgot to mention I was a coffee and diet drink addict.

With my DD, I really never ate breakfast. I didn't eat a lot of solid meals at all and was super thin (naturally petite). I remember drinking a lot of diet coke and snacking a lot. Also a lot of skipping dinner and going out for cocktails with my friends.

I ate a lot and snacked a lot, BUT it was all crappy, non-nutritional stuff like sweets and carbs, hardly any protein, so I am sure my blood sugar was all over the place!

I ate lots of low fat, sugar free stuff. Egg whites and low carb/calorie toast if I ate breakfast and a sandwich and tiny bit of fruit for lunch. I weighed and calculated everything eating no more then 1500-1800 calories per day, 200-300 per meal. It's no wonder I have 3 beautiful ladies :)

Lots of white bread all day and plenty of sweets. I literally went from one processed sugar high to the next! If it wasnt toast it was another bar of chocolate, all day. Then for dinner possibly a few bits of more bread dipped in what ever sauce the family was having or a pasta dish, heavy on the pasta:)

Coffee for breakfast, then i would wait till my tummy was growling to eat something, usually it was crap like chips, buiscuts, peanut butter sandwich, dinner was a lot of take away, drank beer often.

Wow! You guys are fab! What very typically girly mummy things to do! I have renewed hope after looking through this thread!
I was actually doing a search on sugar and how much is too much ttc pink, because someone asked me... Looks like too much sugar is best! ;) x

I had very little protein and always skipped breakfast
AM-coffee, maybe a piece of granola or cookie a couple hours later, then an apple
2pm lunch-lettuce and veggies with 2 pieces of cheese and chips or crackers
8pm dinner-ice cream with peanut butter
That's it! So very little protein and my blood sugar must have been all over the place! I would be starving by the time I got the kids down for nap and had lunch.

There is a really thorough thread stickied on the top of this page that has several pages of what the girl moms ate.

You CAN have chocolate and dairy and sugar on the HE Diet! :) Just be sure to use full fat dairy and not skim, and have choc and sugar WITH protein (altho for YOU Adia, in regards to your testosterone question, you're prob. better off avoiding sugar to keep your T levels from impeding your fertility.)

Chocolate and sugar are synonymous for me so I have avoided them all together. Its better for me since I really pack on the pounds if I eat them as much as I want to. My sugar and chocolate cravings have dropped off a lot since I have been on the diet so I'm ok.
I can't drink cow's milk, my intestines can't handle it, and I don't think I could stomach full cream, what else is Full Fat Dairy? I skimmed the HE diet yesterday so I'll go back and read it more thoroughly.
Update: Whipping Cream! That is full fat and I have no trouble eating that! I'll add some to our pumpkin pie and other things over the next few weeks. Have to watch it though, lots of fat calories!!
Thanks for the info Atomic, anything helps at this point!!
