I just read that a man's testosterone and sperm count is highest in the morning, and it immediately made the think of the mamas out there who are ttc a boy.

You may be on to something...DD was a late night BD, DS was an early morning...this one was mid-afternoon... :)

Maybe there is some truth to it, DD1 and DD2 we were mostly DTD at night and this baby we DTD early afternoons and I am having a boy

There are also studies which say the opposite! Our girl was conceived early morning but I don't think it matters at all!

I conceived at night time 3 times and once in the morning. The only daughter I have is the morning conception ;)

well, of course we have to remember that SWAY doesn't mean "WILL HAPPEN" so there will be cases of boys and girls being conceived during the morning :) I just found the "higher testosterone in the morning" thing interesting, if it's true. :)

I don't personally think it sways at all. There's a huge difference between natural day-by-day fluctuations that happen to everyone all the time just as a matter of course, and fluctuations over time that indicate changing conditions in your body or environment. It makes no sense from an evolutionary perspective, that the time of day you DTD has anything to do with your baby's odds of survival. If you didn't have enough food to sustain a boy at supper, you aren't going to have enough to sustain him at breakfast, even if your husband's T levels are a bit higher.

So basically the female's hormones/body/etc carry all the weight? (to be sure I'm following the ideas here). Makes sense to me from everything else I've seen.

I don't think it matters. I think its more to do with the frequency in which you bd. So if you are doing the methods abstinence at (where you bd once at positive opk after abstaining for 10+ days) or frequent BD (bd every day for 7+ days leading up to O) to sway girl...it doesn't matter what time during the day as long as you are following the method.

Mmmmm did anyone else think of your body's temperature when they read this?
