Hi,

Thought maybe we could start a list of when everyone has their ultrasounds booked for and if they are hoping to find out the gender or not.

My scan is on the 19th November when I will be 19 weeks, part of me wants to stay team green but I think I need to find out if possible so I can get organised and get my head around it.

Let me know when yours are and I'll put a list together :)

Going in for NT scan on 11/14...still going Team Green, but will be nubsessing and posting nub shots (if we can get them). I want to have a "vague" idea to quasi-prepare myself if I see a boy-ish nub! :)

I had an early ultrasound done a few weeks ago for some bleeding. If I'm understanding Ramzi then this is another boy (transvag with implantation on the upper right hand side). Doctor just scheduled me for my nuchal scan for Nov. 20th! I'll be 12w5d then, so I'm hoping for a good nub shot.

Hi nkg11208! My first scan is in a couple of weeks and I'm starting to get really nervous! Mainly just hoping everything is ok with the baby and also just hoping I don't feel too devastated if it is another boy.
I had a weird dream a few nights ago where I was having my scan and could clearly see boy bits but the tech was saying congratulations it is a girl!! I was saying 'no, it can't be look' and teh tech was like 'no, def a girl!'. So weird!!!

Hhi mummypink! I feel the same way about my scan except trying to prepare to hear girl again. I have 2 DD 's already and since thus will be my last I was really hoping to have a baby boy. I'm 12 weeks and having my nt scan tomorrow @ 12w2d! Praying we can get a good nub shot!!! I wish I was strong enough to be on team green since this will be our last baby, but I just can't handle it. The suspense is killing me. I also scheduled a 13 weeks gender scan at a private place. They guarantee gender at 13 weeks and I've never heard of anyone I know being disappointed... We'll see!!! I'm so nervous!!

I know... 13 weeks is crazy to me too. But everyone I know goes there. If they can't give you that 99% (since no one will ever really give you 100%) they will have you come back until they can see it clearly. My sister actually went at 12w6d and they were right on with her too!!! Plus it'a only $25 for the scan... Can't beat that for a peak!!! :)

I've been having some crazy dreams about my nt scan being abnormal. I'm getting a bit nervous about it. Keep me in your prayers please. :) Thanks!!!

I know of 6 babies who's mums were told at the 12 week NT scan and they were correct, so if they can tell at 12 weeks you'll have no worries at 15 weeks.

The place I am going to does them from 15 weeks. I asked about the accuracy and she said in 90% of cases they can tell with 100% accuracy at 15 weeks. If they are not 100% then they tell you what they think but get you back in 7 days before confirming 100%.

My friend here also does them at 15 weeks and if shes not 100% she won't say and will have you come back.
She was right with all of my kids.
The only reason I am thinking of pushing it back is so that I don't doubt her this time , nothin to do with her skill or track record

(((HUGS))) I know exactly how you feel. We swayed pink with my 3 year old and I was told 85% girl by the tech at my nt scan. Oh boy... I went out and spent some $$$$ on her. I scheduled an elective scan for family at 18 weeks and it was clear as day that she became a HE. I cried for days... not necessarily because I was having a boy, but it just felt I had just lost my daughter. I tightened up my sway and had a miscarriage last March at 10 weeks... found out that was a boy too. This time I swore my hubby would agree on high tech intervention, but HE WANTS A BOY this time??? I don't get it. I threw the swaying out the window hoping it would make a difference... we'll see! I'm going for an early gender scan appt this afternoon. I'm wondering if he's just trying to cover up not being GD with this one in case it's a boy.

Sorry for rambling on. I really hope you get your girl someday, I too couldn't imagine life without a daughter. I have such a special tight bond with my mom and I really want that bond with a daughter.

Hello, hello! Went in for my NT scan this morning with no expectations of having a gender guess since I know a lot of techs don't believe in the nub theory, etc. Towards the end she reluctantly gave me a boy guess. I have tons of pics, but posted the only two that showed the whole baby on this thread here. Guess time will tell if she was correct. She said baby wasn't in the best position for guessing.

omg my DP has told everyone we are having a boy, because he was with me at my 12 week scan and the tech said 70% chance its a boy, he even told everyone the name :nails:

Hey ladies!!! I don't post very often, but am on the site a lot. I have a 15 month old DD and am pregnant with our second due may 10th.

My DH has two girls from a previous marriage also, so we are really hoping for a boy. I didn't really sway because I got pregnant the month before I was suppose to really start my sway (opps).

I have a gut feeling its a girl again, but im sure im just trying to prepare myself. It seems everyone I know has two kids of the same sex so I feel like I will be the same.

Anyways, my gender scan is on December 14th.....I can't wait!!!! Hubby can't be there due to work so I told him I would have tech write it down and we would open it on Christmas morning together. But now I don't know if I can follow through with not finding out at the scan and waiting till xmas lol :)

I have 1 week 6 days to wait... Im getting so excited but also very nervous :( I just want to make sure all is healthy. I cant wait to go shopping once I know if its a boy or a girl though :)
I feel movements every now and again but nothing totally obvious. I had an anterior placenta with DS2 but his mustnt have covered the front like this bub as I was feeling him from 17 weeks full on.. Ah well, I guess I just have to be patient.. x

You will be fine, i must admit i was really really nervous after all that has been happening around here, as the tech went through all the organs and said "yes normal" i felt weight lifting piece by piece, gender was the last thing on my mind, but yep hes still the same, at least we know for sure that doesn't change :)
