I have three very beauriful girls and DH and I are trying one last time for a boy. This is the first time I've read anything.about swaying and I am trying to sway for boy. I've been reading a lot about the boy diet and was just.wondering if what I eat is OK or not? Not even meaning to my diet has changed so much from when I had my girls because we moved closer to a lot of fast food places and its really convenient. A lot of times I go to taco bell and get their chicken burrito that comes with nacho Doritos and get a large Pepsi with it. Other times I get bacon burgers and fries from other places with a large pop. I'm really concerned about the pop being on the boy diet. Is any pop on? And wreak of those food choices OK? I have to get it right cuz this is my only chance to try to sway for a boy because I am getting fixed during this c section because this is the last one I can have.

I haven't really read up on the boy diet on here but I have 2 boys and we ate a lot of fast food when I conceived them!! And I snacked all day long! I know diet pop sways girl, but I think regular pop would sway boy! Best of luck to you and you can have all my blue dust!!!

Thanks TTC5! I'm having a hard time remembering what I drank with all my girls but I do remember eating a lot of dairy and limiting what foods I ate

The boy diet is supposed to be healthy. Fast food contains a lot of sugar and fat which you dont want when swaying boy. I would say no to pop because of the sugar content. You will want to eat a variety of fresh wholesome foods like salads, meat, veggies, fruits and grains.

I got two boys when eating a lot of fast food and one more boy when eating super healthy! I think I am pre-set for boys though. Also, I always snack and never go hungry!

If you already have girls, you should eat a diet high in protein and healthy fats, eat whole grains and snack frequently. Full fat dairy is good too. Many fast food places have healthy options these days, even Taco Bell and McDonalds. You can get grilled chicken with veggies, cheese, salsa in a burrito/taco or a grilled chicken breast sandwich.

Sending you all of my blue dust!

I agree- with boy swaying- you definitely want to focus on high nutrition. Fast food is terrible for you and while the protein is good for boys, you might try some healthier alternatives. If you don't like to cook, like the PP said- McDonalds and other places do serve salads with chicken or something. Skip the fries. A baked potato would be better. Think lots of highly nutritious fruit and veg (blueberries, spinach, apples, pears, carrots, etc) and heart healthy fats and proteins (avocados, olive oil, fish, poultry, legumes, etc). And I would probably skip the full sugar pop too but up to you. Everything/everyone is an exception though- like the one poster said, she ate fast food and has boys. My BF eats fast food and has all girls. So who knows. I have two boys and am a life long vegetarian (eat very little protein)- but I also eat highly nutritious produce, while grains, and healthy fats- so that's probably why I sway boy. Oh- and agree with full fat dairy. I rarely eat dairy but when I do, it's full fat cheeses or full fat ice cream!! Good luck!!

Thanks everyone! This helped so much! I really need to change a lot of the things I eat then! Also, how long should I be on this diet before attempting my sway? My husband and I were thinking around December so that would be about 2 1/2 - 3 months on the diet. Is that enough time? While on the diet, I am also going to take some supplements. I bought evening primrose oil and a couple others to do, any recommendations on which ones are best for boy?

Also, I have thought about doing the BSF closer to attempt and on day of. I read on another forum that this may not be a good idea because it can actually reduce your chance to get pregnant and is not very safe. What should I do? I really need to get my ph up higher, but also want it to be safe.

Its true BSF can just kill off all the sperm in your vagina, i would avoid it. You can use pre seed which is totally safe and boy friendly. Also drinking lemon water may raise your ph.

You will want to be on the diet for 6 weeks minimum, so 2 months is good. Wheatgrass capsules and Brewers Yeast tablets are good to boost up the nutrients, and Fish Oil will help with producing more ewcm.

Thank you so much Cinss! This helps more than you know! Can't wait to start, but being as this is the last baby I can have, I just wanna try to make it perfect, but not too perfect! I do not want to over do it! I have read too many sways where the women are trying for boys and end up with girls because they get too wrapped up in swaying. Either way,I will be happy, just would be really nice to have one of each. I've also read a lot from Atomic's posts and they have helped so much! There's so many different things to try,I'm just having a hard time deciding which ones I actually want to include in my sway. One of my biggest dilemmas is to include pre seed or not?

You DON'T need to get your pH up higher, it will go up higher all on its own at ovulation once you start helping your body to make more CM. It is normal and natural for your pH to be very low for most of the month. Please read this: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion-ttc-boy-girl-home-swaying-info/11684-ph-pickle.html

Preseed is the safest and best option for swaying blue. You can also use Robitussin to make more CM and the CM itself will raise your pH.

I obviously unknowingly swayed boy too, LOL. I was a little overweight with all 3 sons at conception, not obese but BMI around 26-27, about 15lbs too much for my 5 foot frame.

I was a salt freak, liked creamy/rich (so, dairy) foods, lots of meat. Some fast food, but mostly home made, but high in fats/proteins. I liked the rich, high cholestorol, loved my sauces/gravies. Not really a pop drinker though. Couch potato and not at all fit!

I also drank lots of green tea, red raspberry leaf, took EPO (evening primrose oil) and Robitussin near O for EWCM. Hubby took vit E to help his swimmers. I wasn't trying to sway boy, we were just frustrated with taking so long to conceive so all these supps were reccomended to help boost general fertility. I wish I knew about the LE diet back then!
