I hate the 2ww...it's so tempting to test when I know good and darn well it's too soon to tell anything. Thank goodness with this pregnancy I discovered the .88 Walmart tests to feed my addiction. LOL At least then I am not wasting a bunch of money. I am 4DPO today, confirmed ovulation on FF on the day I thought I did. I hate taking my temp each morning too, hoping each time that it doesn't drop. Although looking back on my charts from my last pregnancy, I did see a drop, but looking back it must have been an implantation drop. I stopped temping after that drop, not knowing. I know that once I do get a BFP the time sure will drag until I can find out if it's a girl! Of course now that I am a bit older, mostly I am worried that I won't get preggo as easily as I did before, which is so frustrating since we are swaying pink, which makes it harder to get preggo anyway. Ugh! Regardless, I am really glad I found this site to hang out and see I am not the only one obsessed with all this. Thanks ladies!!!

You're so sweet! I decided I'd rather wait patiently for AF rather than become a POAS addict. So I have cheap tests and FRERs calling to me but I am ignoring them! Given that my cycles are not yet regular as I only stopped BF DS2 in June/July I don't really know when to expect AF, but I thought it would be last Friday, hence testing then. So, AF could be three days late or she could be due tomorrow! If she doesn't appear today I may give in and test tomorrow as DH and I are off on a date night and I want to know whether I can eat or not! Will keep you updated! Can't believe all the BFPs this month!

So I tested today and both FRER and cheapie were negative - see picture:

But there is still no sign of AF and I am now 3 or 4 days late! What's that about? So am I still in the running or not? I've no idea. Desperately trying to stick to the diet now as I feel a bit low and confused. :think:

I keep hoping that's the case but it's quite rare isn't it? I am trying to think ahead to the next cycle positively and it'll be a pleasant surprise now if AF doesn't show!

I am not sure unfortuately (which is frustrating as I am not a fan of waiting or of uncertainties!). I could be anything from 15DPO to 18DPO as I am unsure when I ovulated. So, thinking about it, that means I could be anything from 1 to 4 days late for AF doesn't it? My cycle is normally really regular but I have only had a few since stopping BF, so I guess it could just be that. Patience is not one of my virtues! x

If your late its def a good sign am keeping everything crossed for you x

It's true, I bet we've all had chemicals before and not known. Those blinking sticks are just so tempting!
I think I'll try soy isoflavones this month. Has anyone else tried them or had success with them? Also I've been so strict with the diet I'm surprised I even got a chemical. I might just add a bit more fruit and maybe rice to up my calories a bit.

hey lassie and surgena both got bfps first months trying with soy after long time ttc, i took it for first time last month and had a chemical (closest yet on month 6) so i'd give it a try. i've taken a little antihistimine this month to ensure not too much ecwm last month i used a lill represh

Thanks so much for being there with me! I'm not going to test again till the weekend I think. We're in the process of moving house at the moment so life is stressful enough without a trail of BFNs too. Still no sign or symptoms of AF though and even taking my long cycles into account I should have come on by today. Must just keep waiting! x

Another update from me but with no real information. I'm still waiting on AF and yesterday's cheapie test (yes I gave in) was negative. I keep looking at my dates and cycle lengths and changing my mind about when I think I am due! I could now be 6 days late or possibly due today - I just don't know. I do know that all I can do is wait but it's so hard! I am not out of the October club just yet but think I probably will be as the tests are still negative.

Exactly what i had a day or two before my bfp apart from i also had normal af cramps (worse than normal and lasted for longer) and sore boobs - sounds promising x

Urgh, still no typical griping tummy cramps for me today, (which I hope is a good sign!) but I now feel like I'm carrying around a bowling ball in there! My tummy feels really heavy and my temperature keeps doing strange things too, like making me feel hot and cold at the same time - I'm not poorly though as I've just got over a strange bug that didn't really come to much at all but made me feel very ropey over the weekend. I know I should test tomorrow but I still don't have the courage and if I can just get to Saturday with no af then I'll be pretty certain of a BFP! We'll see, I've had my finger's burned too often where I've talked myself into thinking I was pg. Thanks for the support ladies!

I really wanna go poas, but am refraining. I have 2 tests left and am trying to hold out because I know it's too soon... Ugh! Plus, I don't want to go buy more because I end up buying like 10 of them and people stare. LOL. Lucky for me they are the .88 at Walmart. The last two cashiers laughed at me because I had about 10 of the pregnancy tests and 10 of the OPKs...told them I was getting my girl. They said to keep them posted. LOL

I just totally caved on the diet, talking crash and burn here. I just downed about 5 oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I am a horrible dieter to begin with, then want stuff that much more when I know I shouldn't. Ho hum...Testing in 4 or 5 days if I can last that long.

+opk so i'm almost in the 2ww! LOL! I am still doing good on the diet. I did have a bit of chicken last night but it was my only protein all day so i think i'm ok. Plus that's the only meat i've had in a while. Gonna stay strong for the next few days and probably go off the deep end. I can't wait to have a huge breakfast with sausage and eggs and lots of fat. LOL!

I am going to try tomorro though depending on dates i will only be 9 or 10 dpo i think FF is wrong. I then test again on monday at 11-12dpo and again wednesday at 13-14dpo if af hasnt arrived - she is due tue/wed !!! fx for all of us

My cheapy tests were negative a 13dpo - late af by that stage, went positive 3 days later may have done anyway or may have done cause i used a clear blue posh test - maybe try posh one if you have one?

No af is good though :bigsmile: for me it kinda got to the stage where af was late but the tests were neg - something had to give somewhere and the tests caught up - hope you don't have to wait another 3 days though

I plan on starting to temp when we are on our break that way I can know what my cycles are like with no supplements except folic acid. my LP was 11 days this month like last with my chemical, unless I am having another chemical.

Awwww Dream I am so sorry honey :tissue: I know how super hard it is getting bfn month after month. Your ok honey. It took us 16 months to get pregnant with our DS and that was after 3 failed very expensive fertility treatments! There is hope honey. IT WILL HAPPEN! Prayers for you and your next cycle. Oh and you are NOT letting anyone down. We are here to support you and we just want you to get your BFP and be happy!

PS I am a huge fantasy fan and the Harry Potter Studio Tour was amazing! Great to spend the day with friends not thinking about TTC or moving house or having the boys with me! Perfect day for AF to arrive as I've been able to focus on other things! (BTW, AF decided to show herself on my wedding day! Bit scary in an ivory dress! :smile:).

So looking forward to next month's attempt with a Gin and Tonic (so British!) and a pizza delivery (so American!). Congrats on those with BFP's. See those with BFN's on the Nov thread x

I'd designed a 50's style dress so it wasn't a problem really! Managed to get DS1 as a honeymoon baby so no complaints here!

Definitely go to the HP thing if you like the books or the films. It was such a lovely day!

I am sure my pizza and wine tonight will relax me into conceiving next cycle. I guess I know now that my old 28-day cycles may not be back yet! Have to find some decent OPKs to help me pinpoint things this time! x
