View Full Version : Need help ladies! OPK still vague so do I just assume I will O on today as estimated?

I've done an OPK twice a day since CD10. On CD12 it started showing a vague line which has continued every test since then. I was expecting to O today, so CD15 (guessing from the last cycles) but still haven't seen a strongly positive OPK. We've done FR since CD5. Due to the vague positive OPK we DTD once on CD13 (should be O-2), once on CD14 (should be O-1) and once this morning CD15 (should be O today). Is this OK? What if I get a more positive OPK tomorrow or something? Could we DTD again or would that be too much sperm on offer!

Thanks!

This afternoon's OPK was the same, a slight line rather than the zero I had on Monday but not as strong as the control. I don't understand! When am I going to O?

Keep trying until O is confirmed, some sperm will be dying off as you add more.
If you haven't had a true pos yet I suspect you haven't Oed.

Diet can also delay O so it may be that. Or, sometimes when we TTC we get so stressed about it that we can actually delay O (even if you don't think you're super stressed!!)

Thanks Atomic. I wondered the same. Last month my tests were similar and I thought I'd missed O but then had AF exactly when I thought it would be. Oh well, better just keep trying if DH has anything left!
