intercourse around ER

Dear Dr. Potter,
if you have intercourse around eggs retrieval could you become pregnant naturally?
My question is because during my IVF cycles I have never heard anything about that
and now I am thinking if the follicles left in the retrieval could become a baby or if they are left is because they are not going to become a baby.
