I am a chocoholic and planning to start my girl diet in December - around Christmastime. :nails: Atomic - what are your thoughts on my biggest vice and the girl swaying diet?

That give me some hope mydream. Maybe I need to be more disciplined with it. My hubby called me out on it the other day and noticed that I have been making a meal outta the candy and using it to snack it :/
Today is a new day, so far I haven't had a piece. I've already been temped a few times and I've been up only 3 hrs!

It's not bad at all. Dark choc may have some antioxidants that might sway ever so slightly, but white and milk choc is fine. Esp. things like Milky Ways/3 musketeers, which are hardly choc at all and are like pure sugar in the center with the caramel and nougat.

Making a meal out of candy is not necessarily a bad thing for pink. A lot of the pink mamas eat sugar/sweets all day, then drink Diet Coke to wash it down (seriously, I'm not kidding)

Enjoy! I ate it at times with DD and was NOT eating it at all with DS 4 (I WAS eating dark choc every day with DS 3, however - also eating a very boy-friendly diet besides, though)

I'm now eating more milk chocolate covered food than ever before!! I'm totally addicted to choc Phillidelphia on a warm petit pain for lunch and Weightwatchers choc caramel cake bars, WW choc jaffa cake rolls, Choc-chip rice cakes and just whatever fits in with my daily limits. I even had room for a Thorntons mini-fudge choc brownie bite today - absolute heaven! (Only 67 cal BUT 3.1g fat!) So worth it though for a mouthful of proper choc cake, WW food always sounds a lot better than it tastes. Before the LE diet, I could easily go all week and have no chocolate as although I like it, I don't crave it. Now, however, I'm really developing a taste for it! My diet has never been so unhealthy, can't believe some people would eat like this all the time. I am enjoying it, but would just love to have a big bowlful of granola and I miss onions too!!

Coconut does have healthy fat in it but as long as it fits in with your day's totals, an odd one won't hurt a thing.

My problem is that I get the urge to snack on chocolate. I have trouble remembering to take care of all my cravings at meal times because I'm full after I eat. And then a few hours late, I am dying for chocolate! I am going to have problems at Halloween.

If you're ever in a position where you HAVE to snack, chocolate is not the worst thing. pure sugar will cause your blood sugar to drop really low after eating it.

I eat skinny cow ice cream sandwiches for my snack at night. It's a chocolate cookie with low fag ice cream inside. The some mike and Ike's. I hope that not too much chocolate. I eat them every day!!!

This is music to my ears! I love me some chocolate. :) I'm guessing I should put the peanut butter cup down and stick to the rolo's and plain m&ms. Lol

Bwahahahahaha! Oh now you're giving me baaaad ideas Atomic. ;) I will probably work a bit of chocolate into my diet, and Diet Coke, but I certainly won't make it a habit to have that as a meal in itself...at least not every day. ;) Thanks!!

I ate Skinny Cow sandwiches too. I actually like them better than reg. ice cream sandwiches now - not so sicky sweet. EAting them every day is not too much!!

Yeah, unless you're like DYING for one, it's best to skip Snickers, Mars Bars, Mounds/Almond Joy, Peanut M and M, and Reeses (OMG making myself hungry) and go for Milky Way, plain M and M, Twix, 3 Musketeers. I think I'd also pass on Hersheys and Dove bars, that are like PURE chocolate (unless you can stick to one or two squares) in favor of things that are nougat/caramel with a light coat of choc.
...gotta go to the store BRB... :giggle:

As long as you're fitting in the overall limits of the diet, Choc Philly (cream cheese) is fine!!

Dreamofpink - tell me, what do you eat on an evening, if you have choc philli at lunchtime?
I'd so like to be able to fit in some choc phili on bread. My mouth is watering at the thought!
Thanks

Ummm, if I have choc philli on a weight watchers petit pain at lunchtime (yum!) then I have been known to have a portion of oven-baked chips in between two slices of danish bread (no butter) with some reduced salt tomato sauce! Otherwise, I'll have low-fat jalapeno hummus on a petit pain at lunchtime and choc philli on toast for my evening snack. I usually eat 500 cals per meal over three meals from 12pm-9pm. At teatime I have cauliflower, green beans, leeks & courgettes with either rice or pasta and canned chopped tomatoes (sometimes a ww sauce). Otherwise that's the only goodness for me, I fill up on ww cakes, low-fat crisps, sweets, no-fat yoghurts (only 1 per day) and sometimes the odd apple. I think I've totally taken the whole low-nutrient aspect of the diet to heart and am eating such crap!! It's fine for now, but can't wait to start eating healthily again. My fat levels are usually between 25-30g a day, protein 35-40g a day and sodium just under 1g. Hope that helps you
