I just want to cry, I'm so upset. My mom didn't show until 6 months with me. It's not fair. Is anyone else not showing around my gestational age? I keep waiting those "few weeks" and the belly never comes. :worry: It's my first and I'm 21.

I was wearing normal clothes with both my first and second at the 20 week anatomy scan so it will happen. You'll appreciate this one day!

Oh hun, I know how you feel I was the same way with my first. i barely showed until I was 24 weeks along and then the belly popped. I wasn't very big at the end either. You will likely get a belly in the next 4 weeks, I know it's hard to wait but it will happen.

There is a plus side to being small and not showing, it is so much less painful on your back.

With my first baby it took until at least 22 weeks and I was wearing normal clothes then still.

Thank you for your replies! I thought it was the opposite about being small :( I thought if you were small framed you would show so much sooner, even at 12 or 13 weeks :( I was 113lbs prepregnancy and I'm atleast at 130 now (I don't let them show me my weight because I had an eating disorder before getting pregnant for 5 years, but I'm pretty in tune with my weight by the numbers considering I used to weigh myself everyday three times a day heh so I know I've gained to atleast 130 ^_^)

I definitely know I'll appreciate it later, and I promise I'm not trying to be big-headed, but it's just not right to be 4 months pregnant and still in a size 0 -.- I want the pregnancy body, it's part of the beauty of being pregnant! My family and friends keep telling me I don't look pregnant (in that tone, you know), and it's just so saddening to me! I want to look as pregnant as I feel. I have to take Zofran 8mg a day because I've had morning sickness and been hospitalized since day 1. I don't mind the sickness, but I wish I had a belly to show for it! :( Sorry for the rant

I will say I went from a 32A to a 34D in the first month -.- Wowsers! Wish that kind of progress just happened a littttle more down south haha!!

I was wearing my normal clothes too right thru this last pregnancy and I didnt even put on a kg. At 19 weeks i did mention to my ob I was worried because I hadnt grown at all yet but she found a HB straight away so all was fine. I was very small aswell day I had him and he was 7 pounds very shocked at his size for how tiny my tummy was!

Your baby is the size of an avocado right now, so you can see it easily hides inside. Id say 4 - 6 more weeks and you wont be able to hide it. I should have taken more pics with my 1st pregnancy but the 1st one i took was @ 23 weeks and i was small like you, here it is so you can see what to expect in 6 weeks

Wow!! I feel less alone now :) Thank you guys so much. I'm glad other people know how I feel it's very comforting, thank you! Cinss you look absolutely amazing, what a beautiful belly! I sure hope that's what I have in a month and a half :) That would be amazing! Funnily enough I haven't taken more than 3 pictures so far either haha! Most people are filling out the scrapbook regardless but I'm way too bummed to start :)

And pinkin, I know what you mean about being worried because every week I always feel like I'm going to have a stillbirth. Hearing the heartbeat has definitely comforted me too :)

I pretty much didn't show my entire first pregnancy!! No joke! I'm on my 3rd pregnancy and while I am showing at 17 weeks, I wouldn't say I'm huge. My doc says it doesn't have to do with how tall you are but rather your torso length. If you have a longer torso, there's more room for everything. Short torso= bigger bump!!

i remember when i found out with ds#1 that he was a boy and everyone at work kept saying, "WHERE is this baby?!" I really didn't look preg or have to wear maternity clothes until I was 7 months. And even when i was due in 6 weeks people would say, you mean 6 months right? Um no 6 weeks. LOL! The first one you just don't show as soon, and if you have a longer torso it may take a while. You will make up for it soon love!! :)

I'm 15 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and I don't look pregnant, I just look like I have put a few pounds on. I weigh the same as you, it feels like the baby is burrowed down in my pelvis. I think I was about 20 weeks with my first when my bump started to show so try not to worry. :)

I am 16.3wks with Babe #4, and I am still in Sz 0-2 non-maternity clothing. Not showing at all here either. Babe is measuring ahead, so no issues, some of us just carry differently.

I'm still TTC but with DS1 I was dancing a lot and tight tummy muscles apparently hide the bump more, because even in dance clothes I didn't really show until my second scan. Certainly didn't really need any maternity clothes until the last month or two. With DS2 I showed much earlier as my tummy had already stretched before I guess, but I know that doesn't happen to everyone either. In my antenatal group with DS1 we were all due within 3 weeks of each other and our bump sizes were significantly different!

I was really tiny with ds1 when i caught as i'd been really unwell - by 6 months ish i just looked fat didn't have a proper bump til i was about 28 weeks and i swear it came out of nowhere. It was right around the time my period would have been due and i within a few days i looked pregnant.

Unfortunately 3 boys later and i always look pregnant now so you will be so grateful in the future. Only thing is cause my bump came on so fast i ended up with major stretchy marks so cream lots now in preparation and hopefully you'll avoid it. Bump size often depends on how good your tummy muscles are to

I know how you feel... I was never big with any of my kids, I'm now 32 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 and only have a tiny bump that isn't that noticable to most people :worry: Apparently i have good tummy muscles!x

I had tiny bumps with all 3 of mine, I don't think I wore maternity clothes until I was over 6 months. Sometimes people didn't even notice I was pregnant when I was in my third trimester. I think I posted some photos of my 3rd pregnancy on here! Don't worry what people say, if you had a really big bump they would comment on that too. We are all built differently, and carry our babies differently. Enjoy your pregnancy :)

Don't be upset!! I was tiny with my DS1 and then suddenly went BOOM! I loved having a smaller bump - with my DS2 I was massive all the way through and it was soo heavy and uncomfy very early on, but with DS1 I loved it!

This is me at 20 weeks

And at 27 weeks (same top, lol)
