I felt the same way... Then I started counting my calories and walking to pick to the kids from school. Slowly lost 5lbs which gave me more motivation to watch what I ate and started the Jillian Michaels DVD.... It really helped. I've lost 10lbs in 6months but I feel a lot better. I still hate the way I look but not as much as before. You can do it, must motivate yourself .... My husband was fine with me looking the way I did, I was NOT and knew it was up to me.... GL

my husband is at times ok with how I look, then at other times comments about my weight gain. Now my girls are starting to copy their father in picking on my weight, which hurts even more. Now that we are getting into fall/winter here, as they run together LOL, it is even harder to be motivated.

Just a suggestion.... Leslie Sansone has some fabulous waking videos that you can do in your living room regardless of the weather. I usually do them on the weekends when everyone is running around doing chores so I can still supervise but get my walk in too.

She has one called the "Ultimate 5 Day walk plan". You can follow what is scheduled or create your own program up to 5 miles.

I am prego & starting to pop out but we haven't told the kids until we know the gender and get past the first trimester. My kids are starting to call me "chubby", which is not ok, but when they see me exercise they know I am trying to take care of myself.

Good luck! When their is a will, their is a way!

It takes me 2 years. I had noticed this as far back as my first and now with my 5th it seems equally true.

The best book to read is the Dukan Diet. You can get it on amazon. Or download it to your iPad. You won't go hungry and you will drop pounds fast. Then you will get the motivation to start working out. I started it 6weeks post baby and was back down to normal weight by 3 months. I know it's a hard time, but it's an easy step to start.
