I started my diet one week ago and today I did my first cheat of white toast :(
How do people deal with the hunger?

Eat some white rice to fill you up.

Diet coke and lots of it unfortunately. I do feel you pain, it is hard... I find that it is really hard in the beginning but it does become more automatic to eat this way... I have "gotten used to it" to some extent. Hugs!

Ditto what everyone else has said.
I bake salt free bread and have that for lunch with sugar free jam, followed by a Muller Light.
Then at tea time, I have rice or pasta with a few veg on the side, followed by strawberries and canderel.
I eat skittles in the evening if I really need to.
Weekends are worse for me, as everyone around me is filling their boots!
It does get easier. I also find fibre drink fills me up in the evening.
I find the lack of energy and tiredness hard. Even shutting the boot of my car yesterday, everything feels so heavy.
If it's any consolation, I've been doing it for 6 weeks and my CM has massively dried up, even without antihistamines. So it does do what it should do.

A couple months ago I started supplements like cran and magnesium and my cervical mucus disappeared I only took them for a month and still even last month I had none and wasn't doing anything or taking any supplements... After reading a lot I decided to not take those vitamins cause they have too much nutriients... So just folic acid I like white pasta plain so that's easy I don't really like salt so that's not too bad either... So if I need to snack is it better for me to eat something junky like candy? My main concer is that my O day is jan 5th and It is going to be so hard cause we have three or four days of Christmas dinners! I love potatoes and saying no will be difficult but I think my mind set at that time will be in the right place... It's easy for me to skip breakfast no dairy is easy for me I don't really drink milk but I have a love for cheese... I have 3 boys and I really want this to be my last and I honestly don't feel like I can stop till I get a girl but I really don't want to have like 8 boys lol anyways thanks for your support I don't have anyone to really talk about this with cause people think I am crazy. keep it up - i think you are doing good. i believe we all are sturggling. i am even scared to start it lol... but we can all over come this for a few weeks to get our desired DG. Good luck.

Oh I am struggling with it too! I have been doing it for almost 3 weeks and I am hoping I can keep going! I am going to take the Diet Coke thing and use that!!! LOTS of it may help fill you up!

Hi, I have 3 girls and am stuffing myself stupid full of food and am hating it so in the opposite boat.
I am a prime girl baby maker and am usually always hungry. Before swaying boy, I'd snack on nuts or low fat yogurt. Freeze it and eat it slowly if its hot. Have a big glass of low fat milk or some cheese and crackers.

Can you please explain to me why white toast is forbitten? Do you mean you ate it as a snack in between?

ya i had toast as a snack cause i was starving!! but now into second week and the starving feeling is def going away i am doing alot better
i am still ever so worried about christmas dinners lol ... maybe i should just eat once those days except potatos??? cause that will be days before my sway???

i hope this is encouraging ;-S 6 months on LE and now it sorta feels normal! I've always got shaky with low blood sugar - don't anymore! and actaully find it easier as no point in thinking about food as can't eat anything nice anyway!!
meringues, fruit mentos and matzo pizza is the answer i think!

tbh would owrry more about the meat than the potato! really hoping i get a bfp before xmas!

Can you please explain to me why white toast is forbitten? Do you mean you ate it as a snack in between?
salt can be quiet high other than that it's okay if in limits and one of your three meals x

I get really sick of I don't eat meat.... So I have to have some... I normally eat a lot of red meat but switched to white thinking it's better but I don't know.... A lot of information to take in... I feel like I'm doing a lot better I'm not feeling as hungry now I do need to tweak a couple of things still tho... I need to start aspirin... I have lost 2lbs already it's been less than two weeks and I'm not big to begin with I've been trying to avoid meat so some days I just have plain pasta for dinner which Is fine I like things plain

Are you getting enough potassium? You need 2500-3500 mg a day for your health.
Also, are you getting the recommended number of calories?? 1500-1800
Snacking's not a great idea but you can eat something sugary/snacky at a meal.
I ate potatoes quite frequently when TTC my girl.

best meat cheats are shellfish/white fleshed fish
if you do poultry, keep it to a minimum.

Cheating on LE Diet is not only allowed, but encouraged. Cheating on special occasions makes it easier to stick to the diet the rest of the time, and one meal cannot undo other days of diet.

just to reiterate, both potatoes and white toast are 100% allowed on LE and I ate tons of both when I got my baby girl

Well, as a professional girl mom, I can tell you hunger feels good.
I enjoy feeling hungry, don't have a good reason why, I just do. I like eating too, just not as much as I need to on the HE diet.
As other have said, you will get used to it in time. I have had to force feed myself most of the past 6 weeks but I am used to it now. No more hunger pangs...can't wait to be hungry again!!

thanks for all your advice atomic you really helped me feel better about how i am doing!!!!! I am getting potassium i had some tomato sauce to make sure i got some, in genreral i dont think i eat a lot of potassium rich foods i dont like bananas or tomatoes but love potatoes... i am calorie counting and i am making sure i get enough... it is getting easier every day now.... is red meat a total no? cause ive said before that i get really sick without meat in me and i am a red meat person which since i started the diet i have been changing to white meats i will def get fish... would it help if i changed from having meat every day to maybe once or twice a week or would that make no difference at all? i saw somewhere on the fourm that candy is the best to snack on if you need a snack cause your blood sugar will drop really fast... what fiber supplement do you recommend? thanks for all the advice ladies i love the support you are making it so much easier for me :) EEEEEK my sway attemp is only 8 weeks away!!!! couple more questions sorry lol... um asprin is that to dry up cevical fluid? and also i read somewhere that spermicide sways pink also? thanks again
