Hi, does anyone else seem to get headaches doing this diet. I seem to think its the aspartame in the drinks/splenda etc..
Has anyone else suffered with headaches and if so do they get easier the longer you are on the diet?
Any info would be good to hear.
Thanks for reading

I get headaches from aspartame yes.
I don't get them from diet coke, but I do get them if I add Canderel to anything.

Just wondering do you have the caffeine free diet coke or just the normal diet coke if you don't mind me asking?
This diet is a killer and I've only been doing it a few days!!
Thanks for your help

I have the caffeine free diet coke.
However, I've read on here that the caffeine thing is a myth and doesn't influence sway (have a look in the FAQ thread thing). So I buy in gallons of the CF diet coke, but have 'normal' diet coke out and about.
It is tough. But it gets easier, I promise. Once you've got a 'routine' of what foods, it becomes second nature.
That said, I'm sooooo looking forward to getting a BFP and going for a celebratory eat anything meal!
This is a great forum.

Yes. I also notice I get headaches from aspartame. I cut back and don't have it in all my drinks anymore, just some of them. I'm also doing weight loss shakes that have sucralose (splenda) and they seem to be okay. I think I can take smaller doses without getting headaches so that's what I do. I've cut back to an amount that doesn't give me headaches.

I got the headaches first month, not this month. I think it can be a few things, i'm sure atomic will weigh in, but I've read her post on cranberry supplements, are you going those?? They can cause headaches, and i'm on them too. In my case it was caffeine withdrawal because I cut right down on that, and now I just have 1 coffee a day, so the headaches are gone as my body must be used to it.

I used to get really bad migranes to the point where I couldnt see when I first starting aspartame now they seem non-existint.

Just so people know, caff is 100% fine and allowed on LE Diet. The Oxford Study found NO difference in caff intake between moms who went onto conceive girls, and moms who went on to conceive boys.

I get headaches JUST from Diet Dr. Pepper. Diet coke and pepsi are fine - go figure?!?
Splenda makes me wig the f out and have anxiety attacks.
So I do think it's totally possible for them to affect different people different ways, and if you are feeling poorly while using the fake sugars, please feel free to drop them. They aren't a magic bullet by any means.
Some other peopel have also reported vitex causing headaches.

Hungriness causes migraines as well, doesn't it?

I start getting headaches & feeling light headed (& grumpy) if I skip breakfast so I'm really struggling with that part of my sway. Might be cause I typically have low blood pressure?

if you're miserable and suffering, it's ok to eat breakfast. it's not a magic bullet, just soemthing that may help.
