Having panic day today (could be because of AF ).
I would love to hear from any (or all) of you that managed to have a little boy after 2 or more girls.
What is your advice, what worked for you, etc....
I am doing He diet, weights and sups as is hubby and have given up or changed an awful lot in my diet. Started charting and bought OPK's so my trial will be in 2 weeks and attempt 1 in 6 weeks.
I guess I am worried I am not doing enough or am going to forget to do something integral to achieving getting a son which I am desperate for.
Usually my EWCM only lasts a day also so in everything I am reading we are meant to DTD when I see this but what happens if OPK ends up just starting to rise...doesn't that put me back near 1 or 2 days before and more likely girl?

Hi mykiwibaby. I actually have 3 girls and am swaying for a boy. I have read a few of your posts and some of your sway details back a while a go. I don't pray (although I'm prepared to try...) but am sending loads of luck and best wishes to you for a successful boy sway. Will be watching your news on the 13th Nov, cheering blue for you!!

Hi Luvalittleman,
I'm in same boat as you, i've 2 little ladies and this will definitely be my last so hoping for a boy...like you i'm hoping to try in December so going to give it everything for the next 6 weeks. Have you considered using preseed? There seems to be loads of positive posts on it and if your lacking in ewcm it might be worth trying....I've started supplements and weight training and have made a few changes to my diet but officially starting full HE diet tomorrow Nov 1st....best of luck xx
Good luck mykiwibaby with your scan hope it's blue all the way xx

Hi there!
I failed in my sway and I'll be trying again for sure. Here are 3 things that I didn't do ( properly or completely): vit. D, exercise and PreSeed.
So feel free to learn from my mistakes :)
Vit D - the best option would be to check your d3 blood level, if not, take at least 800IU
Exercise- keep the good work with weights, 4-5 times a week for 45 min ( I was doing 20 min 3 times a week boo)
PreSeed- Imo, it's a must for a blue sway :agree:
Best of luck!!!!! :luck:

Hi GerryO, thanks for posting me a message. I am definately going to include pre-seed in my plan. Are you going to add a little BS? I am still undecided about that but have heard of people just doing BSF and getting boy after a few girls so think I will try that. I am going to try and post my full sway plan tomorrow.

HI Zivic-bubac. Thanks for responding. As mentioned, I am going to post my sway attempt details tomorrow so would love you to read and comment if you have time. I live in Australia (QLD) so it's really sunny here every day. I get loads of natural sun so not sure if I would need to take Vit D?
Will up the weights a bit but I am already quite muscly and buying pressed for sure!!!
Just a question, did you feel like you dramatically changed your diet leading up to your last attempt and did you DTD very close to O?
My last daughter (who I ashamedly cried over hearing she was a girl) is the most amazingly delightful, beautiful and charming little girl and I feel so blessed that she came to us. I never swayed for her (she had her own plans to join our family) and my terrible attempt to sway before my second DD ended in MC so I wonder if I can pull this off. (I subsequently threw the swaying idea out the window after MC and DD 2 arrived who is the sweetest child and brightens every day for me).
I hope you manage to get your little boy Zivic, and me too!

I have 3 girls, 2 boys. I had the full moon for conception for both of them (new moon for the girls), frequent release for the boys (daily release for dh, not frequent intercorse), ewcm (try robitussin if you have little cm), boy diet (LE for the girls), timing was on the day of O for ds1 and a few days before with ds2). I was also taing fat soluable vitamins with the boys. Which increases testosterone, and was stressed out. I didn't know until I started researching, that I was inadvertantly doing girl/boy sways.

I have two girls and am pregnant with a boy now. The most important things for me were HE diet, weight training, and preseed. When I had my girls I lived the LE lifestyle pretty much without even knowing it, I never worked out and I hardly ever got CM. So when I was doing my boy sway I wanted to make sure I changed everything about my lifestyle.

Hi Greeneyes and Dloui, thanks for responding.
I am taking Primrose, Vitamin E and Fish oil which are all fat soluable and I am in the sun between 15 min to 2 hours a day so getting lots of Vit D. Am also taking TT which is great for testosterone and have been on Withania complex for 8 months which restores adrenal function and helps regulate hormones. I find it confusing that everyone who has boys say they were stressed....I don't understand the science behind that for having a boy. Also having lots of folic acid and potassium sups, as well as completely changed my diet to fruit, veg, dried fruit, meat, meat, potatoes, meat, tomatoes, juice, meat and V8 juice (did I mention meat??). Sea salt on everything...etc...weights.
If you don't mind Greeneyes, I'd love to ask you a couple of questions?
Firstly, what was the order of your children (gender) and secondly, when you say you conceived on a full moon and a new moon, do you mean a few days before, after or did you manage to both ovulate and DTD smack bang on a full moon twice?
My cycle just shortened to 25 days this month after starting sups and diet so think I could possibly ovulate on a full moon late december but that will put me at my MIL house in the middle of christmas hols so my diet and hubby's alcohol intake would be fairly uncontrollable so figure I should give it a crack cycle before which is early december but that puts me about 7 days after a full moon....?

I'd have t look it up again, but I want to say it wasn't smack dab on the full moon for one, but it was for the other... as for stess, I was having a lot of medical issues when we concieved ds1 and I was in nursing school when I conceived ds2. I was a sahm for my 3 dd's, so much less stress!

As for diet, I didn't go out of my way to add any salt or potassium, although I do love me some mcd's french fries... I actually just took a lot of vitamins, ate healthy, always ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner with snacks, I also drank coffee with the boys when I was at work. With the girls I as a sahm so I didn't need the caffiene. :)

I have 3 boys. And each time i got pregnant I was doing the low carb diet. Basically I only ate eggs bacon cheese steak chicken lunch meat advacado tomatoes onions lettuce. No breads, pasta, dairy, sweets. Also we always had sex the day before I ovulated. Sometimes multiple days, sometimes only the day before ovulation.

timing does not sway in any way. I got 3 of 4 of my boys 2+ days before ovulation!!
BTW - having intercourse the night of your pos. OPK is actually in line with Shettles timing anyway.

If you have the type of stress where you are facing and overcoming lots of challenges, are starting new projects, and/or are confronting and competing with others, those things can raise testosterone and sway blue.

Preseed is a sperm friendly lubricant, I believe it has a ph of around 7. Alot of us boy swayers have used it. I used it mainly because I don't get very much EWCM. As long as you are getting a lot of EWCM during ovulation you shouldn't have to use preseed but that is totally up to you.

Mine EWCM sometimes slightly goes up and down through each cycle so I think I might go ahead with the preeseed .. Can we use it before each time we BD even if its during same day for Eg. Morning time , then night time ..

you can use it each time you BD, so if you BD morning and night in one day you can use it both times

Congrats on your little boy and hope you have a great pregnancy.
How often did you do weights and what kind of exercise did you do with them?

I am a mum of 2 boys, just wanted to second what someone said above, I never ate junk, or ate for the sake of eating, I ate super healthy, lots of fruit, veg, meat and I have to say if I did ever snack unhealthy, it would be salty/savoury things (read fat and salt) not sugary. I never skipped meals, never allowed myself to get too hungry, so my blood sugar would have been fairly constant. I didn't do weight training, with ds1 I worked in an office and my only exercise was daily 1hr walks, with ds2 however I did lots of heavy lifting (of ds1) and was still doing daily walks and occasionally jogging. I was pretty stressed out both times, with a busy work/study lifestyle and I am definitely a project starter. These things aren't things you can change, but they signal that you have high or low testosterone. For example, stress over projects, controlling/planning things, and perfectionism are classic high T traits. So I believe i'm naturally high T, and if my girl sway fails, it will be that for sure!!
Ps I also had a lot of green tea, always drank decaff tea, only had 1 latte a day and no other caffeine, and didn't consume much sugar at all.

Meek32 - You have just described me!! I'm scared that this swaying is another of my projects and I don't want to increase my T levels anymore than they already are. Other than taking a relaxing holiday away from the kids and hiring a chef & cleaner lol, any tips on reducing T that you know of (I'm taking Saw Palmetto but unsure if it's making any difference) xx

Just avoid starting new things or taking on new projects - don't worry about the things you already have going, just avoid the things you can avoid. Some peopel think they're going to remove all the stress from their lives and launch a big relaxation project - but THAT in and of itself is the time of project that can sway blue!!
