Positive OPK and wet CM

Finally got a positive OPK and have wet CM, not EW though. The egg lasts 12-24 hours and I may not ovulate until tomorrow, right? This is my first full month of charting. My cycles prior to this month were 30-32 days and last month it was 27 days. I am on CD13.

I'm kinda nervous because we didn't do FR nor did we abstain. We last had sex on Sunday so it was 5 days ago so I know that is boy territory. I'm just really hoping for the best. Really really hoping this is our month! My daughter is 31 months and would love a sister ;)

Okay. Thanks. Anyone have an opinion of when we should BD? Had sex Sunday night, 5 days ago. I don't want to miss the egg!

At this point I'd do a hurry up FR - I would have him release once, dump it, then DTD again as soon as he is able to.

Grrrr! I just don't know what to think. I have Wondfo OPK's and the line is the same color as the control line. But I went on peeonastick.com and looked at the photo gallery for positive OPK's and the positives on there are much darker (the control line and positive line) than mine. Then I used another kind of OPK, by early pregnancy and it is negative! I am CD 14....

If it's the same as the control line, it's positive.

Don't worry about the other brand, if you get a positive on one brand and a neg on the other, that means the neg. test is just less sensitive. Go off the positive.

Thank you. I took another OPK today around 2 pm and it is positive as well. 3 days in a row? Now I am not sure about our attempts. I have not been getting pregnant with a 3 day cut off. We ended up BDing on Friday night at 11 pm and then again yesterday at 1 pm. Maybe that was already too many attempts for a girl sway. I am wondering if we should do it again tonight.

if you want to get pg this month do it again. if you're ok with waiting, it may be better to wait.

Thank you Atomic. Fertility Friend is saying I ovulated Friday. The day of my first positive OPK. now I am completely worried I missed the window completely! We had sex Sunday CD 8 and not again until Friday CD 13 at 11 pm at night! If I ovulated that day, according to Fertility Friend, is is possible we missed the egg? I really hoped this would be my month.

hp im going through the same thing as you.....well i got a pos wondfo opk on saturday yesterday around 4pm i got my positive digital opk we DTD last night but today im very dry so i dont know if i missed the egg as FF is saying i ovulated and i used rephresh really cose to our BD saturday....didnt use any last night but still ugh. i dont feel like going through all this again next month

and i hardly had any cm so i think I did O. i thought i would O last night so we did BD last night.....just dont know if conditions were right to conceive

I hear ya. I just want to be pregnant! :( See today I am noticeably more wet than the last few days. I just don't know what to think now.

Well the good news is, FF changed my O day to CD 14. We had sex on CD 13 and CD 14. Boy territory? I did not have any egg white, hope there was enough CM for the sperm...

I didn't do FR or abstinence (we were perfect boy frequency) and BD late the night of pos OPK (so very close to O day) and I got my baby girl!

I got my BFP today at 10 dpo!!!! Looks like I needed to have sex as close to O as possible in order to get pregnant. I had very little CM. My question is: wondering if the sperm from when we had sex late CD 13 was there when the egg released at some point on CD 14 or would the the sperm from afternoon sex on CD14 win? hard to say, I'm sure! I guess it doesn't really matter now. I just really assume we will have a boy because my sway was so low and basic, barely at all. My husband comes from a family of mostly boys, for generations. Our 2 1/2 year old is a girl and I was SHOCKED. However looking back, we did abstinence and a had sex one time on ovulation day. We'll see!!!

That is true for a LOT of people - some people have gone literally years trying to get pg with cutoff. :(

There is NO way to say which sperm made it to the egg first. Could have been either. They were both present and accounted for, I'm sure!! Those lil guys and gals mean serious business when an egg is about.
