How important are moon phases in swaying, in everyone's opinion?

I don't personally believe in them, but there may be something to the idea that you have a little boost in fertility if you ovulate during a full moon and be less fertile if you ovulate during a new moon.

I'm asking because we *might* be TTC in May instead of June...but my cycles aren't in sync with ovulating in a new moon yet. So I'm all indecisive!

According to the "seasons" idea, May would be better than June!

May is better than June? I always thought that summer is better than spring!
Another reason why I'm freaking out is that BOTH of my sons were conceived in a full moon. We actually conceived one in May and one in October. Hmm, maybe I'll take some saw palmetto AF-O in order to lengthen my cycle a bit and get it on track? Any other ideas? It would just give me some peace of mind. :)

I wouldnt' put too much stock into the moon theory. I think season's play more of an influence. I would never ttc for a girl in Oct. or 2 months before or after,..april being the best month. You can't control the moon phases, so I would just go for it regardless :)

That's for the ions. I am reading some stuff that makes me doubt the ions (I always kinda doubted them but more so.) October is primo boy conceiving time according to one source.

Did you read this yet? http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?1693-the-seasons-and-swaying

I just read it...thanks, Atomic Sagebrush! I think that we will just go for May. :) I would go for April, but that would give me another January baby, and I would like to space my kids' birthdays out at least so they have their own months!
BTW, when I conceived my first DS in May, I was on a TOTAL boy diet (not drinking milk or dairy products either) and had TONS of EWCM...I've always thought that diet and environment were more important, but then I start overthinking it! Especially since both of my sons were conceived in full moons.

I conceived DS2 in October...definitely avoiding October again! LOL

Diet and environment ARE the most important. This is interesting and great to encorporate if you have a choice, but I don't think anyone should build a sway around it because the numbers aren't THAT different than would be expected.
