My temps seem really low?? I've temped for 5 days and on average they are 96?? Am I a polar bear?? lol
Is this the reason I have boys?? xx

6boysneedsasis I feel you and just do not understand why i have low temps
I just don't know if it is a bad thing or not(but what i hear HIGH TEMPS are better for ttc pink) , very frustrating i am so at a loss don't know what to do! :hair:!

I temp and they are usually in the 97 range before and after ovulation go up into the 98 range. I have a son so not sure how that correlates. I know normal BBT temps are between 96 and 99 degrees Fahrenheit. I have never heard of BBT temps swaying one way or the other.

That's an old wive's tale...
"They" say that higher progesterone levels = girl; higher progesterone usually means higher BBTs; but I can tell you that I am currently taking Prometrium and my temps are not high (they've stayed in the 97's post-ovulation).
Lots of ladies with low progesterone (and low body temps) have conceived girls.
I would not worry at all about my post-O temps if I were you!! (I'm not!!)
Good luck!! :)

Thanks Beadinmom that gives me hope! I would love to hear from moms who had girls with low temps to give me even more hope lol.

We don't even know that high prog. sways, it's just a theory (and actually doesn't ahve a ton of data supporting it quite frankly) and there can be a zillion reasons why your temps are a little cooler or warmer than another persons.

Atomic sorry to be a bug but before i posted this i looked and looked and did not see a post like this made. If so i would never asked. Since i am a bother i will no longer be asking any more questions, i need to face reality, i just want something so bad i mostly likely will never get
Nice knowing you all Ladies Good luck on all your journeys!

No, it was entirely my mistake, sometimes i start to answer a question and then get interrupted or else someone else had just asked it. you are NOT being a bother whatsoever.

Also, I had been up since 4:30 yesterday and just trying to get thru as many questions as I could, sorry that I gave a rather terse answer, that was not my intent at all. I'm really sorry.

Thanks Atomic i just thought i was being a pain. I am super sensitive lol. Before i write a post i usually check to see if the question has been answered 1st. I am like so desperate right about now and feel like my hope has gone i am so depressed and trying to stay strong and positive. I need to clear my mind and maybe after the Holidays and wait to the New Years and hopefully i will get back on board with the swaying. Thanks again.
