Does anyone else find they feel dry mouthed/throat? Or is this coincedence and a side effect of all the sodium we consume?

I was always thirsty with the lemon/truvia water too. I found it bizarre with how much I drank

The guaifenesin one, don't remember which one exactly. I found guaifenesin tablets, they taste super nasty but are 400 mg in one shot

It prob. is the salt! Make sure to get whatever kind of cough syrup that has the guaifenisin (sp?) as the only active ingredient!!

I just use generic Mucinex tabs that are straight 400g guifanesin, and swallow one down about and hour before attempt. Perhaps the lemon alkalizes you so nicely that you are digesting quicker, thus more thirsty and hungry. I feel hungrier when I am drinking a lot. I am literally a Tinkle Machine so I do the green tea and lemon water in one drink. (I posted in the boy recipe section, but here it is again.) I LOVE this and so does my DH and my girls, although I don't let them have too much.

Brew 5 decaf green tea bags in a big pot of boiling water. It will be pretty concentrated. Pour into a pitcher full of ice. Add Stevia and fresh lemon, and voila.

I also think the extra protein can make you thirstier.
