Refrigerating Your 1st Morning Urine

So when I was pregnant with DS2 I wanted to take a pregnancy test but didn't have any so I woke up peed in a cup, so I could have 1st morning urine, put it in the fridge, and ran to the store to buy some tests. When I came back and tested, it was a very strong line not faint at all. Just because I can never believe 1 test I took 3 more test the following 3 mornings and the lines were all quite faint, never as strong as that first one using refrigerated morning urine. Does anyone know or has anyone heard of whether or not refrigerating your urine first could possibly make your test show up stronger?

Thanks, that was interesting to read, it looks like most think it should be room temp but when I did it with DS2 it was 9 or 10 DPO and super dark line and the rest of the tests I took the following days were no where near as dark, I might try it just to see this time since I am 2DPO, it couldn't hurt so why not?!

If you're only 2dpo, I wouldn't waste a test.

Oh I totally agree, I meant when the time comes......maybe 10DPO

Interesting thread, i would never have thought to put my pee in the fridge, haha let us know what happens next time :)
